Roblox Rivals’ Jump Pad is unlocked by collecting all nine Jump Shards. It is a free Standard Utility weapon, so you do not need Keys, Robux, or a weapon bundle. Three shards are in the main lobby; the other six appear on specific maps during public matches.
Collecting a shard only requires touching it. You may fall, die, or land in lava immediately afterward and still keep the pickup, provided contact registered first.

Private servers do not count for the map-shard hunt. Because map rotation is random, you cannot complete all six map pickups from one lobby or one selected map.

All nine Jump Shard locations
1. Weapons room — lobby
Enter the weapons room containing the weapon displays and the Nosniy NPC. Search behind the crates or boxes at the back of the room. The shard is tucked out of the main walking path.

2. Winstreak board — lobby
Go to the large Winstreak or leaderboard screen in the lobby. Walk behind the screen rather than searching around its front. The second lobby shard is directly behind it.
3. 3v3 queue area — lobby
Visit the 3v3 matchmaking pads. The shard is along the lane beside the pads. Check the side of the queue area instead of standing directly on the matchmaking plates.
4. Docks
At Docks, leave the normal playable area and look behind one of the green cargo or shipping crates. The shard is far outside the usual combat space, making this one of the most difficult pickups.
Useful equipment: Warhorn helps you cover the distance quickly, while Scythe can provide the final dash toward the crate. You can still collect the shard if you fall out of bounds immediately after touching it.

5. Crossroads
Follow the map’s side wall toward the gray rock structure. The shard is behind the rocks, outside the normal playable area. Reach the structure, make contact with the shard, and do not worry if the return route causes you to fall.
6. Construction
Find the tall crane and climb or launch yourself toward its extreme tip. The shard sits at the end of the crane, where there is little room to recover if you miss.
Line up your movement before committing to the jump. If you touch the shard and then fall out of bounds, the collection should still count.

Go to the large lava pool in the center of Onyx. The shard is held by a sinking character or model in the lava. This is not the older “floating in the ocean” location; current versions place the shard in the central lava pool.

You will normally die when reaching it. That is expected. The objective is to touch the shard before the lava eliminates your character.
8. Bridge
Look on the Nosniy INC side of Bridge. The shard is on top of the left-side pillar near the bus or outer structure.
Older directions may refer to a north or right-side pillar. Use the pillar on the left when facing the Nosniy INC side, as the location has changed or been described inconsistently in older guides.

9. Station
Travel to the far edge of Station and check beside the corner of the fence. The shard is effectively out of bounds, so approach it carefully and touch it before your character falls or the round ends.

How to collect the map shards
- Join a public Roblox Rivals match. A public 1v1 queue is also valid.
- Wait for one of the six required maps to appear: Docks, Crossroads, Construction, Onyx, Bridge, or Station.
- Use the location list above to reach that map’s shard.
- Touch the shard. Do not leave before your character makes contact.
- Repeat the process as the maps rotate. A shard normally does not need to be collected again once it has registered.
- After the ninth shard, open the weapons or loadout menu and select the Utility category.
Mobility equipment is helpful, especially for Docks, Construction, Crossroads, Bridge, Onyx, and Station, but it is not an unlock requirement. The requirement is contact with each shard, not ownership of a specific weapon.
What to do if a shard seems missing
- Check your progress: A shard disappears from the hunt after it has registered. Revisit the exact location only if you are unsure whether you touched it.
- Confirm the server type: Map shards require public matches. A private server will not spawn or credit them.
- Touch before dying: Falling or dying is harmless after contact, but dying just short of the shard will not count.
- Wait for the correct map: Map rotation is random. You cannot collect a Docks shard while playing Station, for example.
- Use current directions: The Onyx shard is in the lava pool, and the current Bridge direction points to the left pillar on the Nosniy INC side.
- Rejoin if the map or shard fails to load: A fresh public match can resolve a display or spawn issue.
How to equip and use Jump Pad
Once all nine shards are collected, open the weapons/loadout menu and choose Utility. Jump Pad appears as a zero-cost Standard utility. It is not a command or redeem-code unlock, and there is no console syntax involved.

The pad can attach to floors, walls, ceilings, and slopes. It is temporary and can disappear after being placed. Anyone can use it, including opponents, so avoid placing one where the enemy can exploit it more easily than your team. Use the three available pads to create a route to high ground, escape a dangerous angle, or reach an unusual sightline—but remember that the same launch point may also help an enemy push.

Can you collect Jump Shards in a private server?
No. The six map shards require public matches. Public 1v1 queues count, but private servers do not.
Do you keep a shard if you die after touching it?
Yes. If contact registers first, the pickup remains valid even if you immediately die, fall out of bounds, or die in Onyx’s lava.
Where is the hardest Jump Shard to collect?
Docks is generally the most difficult because its shard is behind a green cargo crate far outside the playable area. Warhorn and Scythe can make the approach easier.

The current location is in the large central lava pool, held by a sinking character or model. Older guides that place it in the ocean are outdated.
How many Jump Pads can you place?
Current reported item information lists three pads per round and a 0.50-second cooldown. The pad is temporary and can be used by both teams.
