Robin works especially well with allies who attack often, because her Ultimate advances the other allies’ actions, boosts their ATK during Concerto, and lets her deal additional Physical damage after their attacks. For a premium follow-up lineup, HSR Guide’s version 3.4 recommendation is Feixiao, Robin, Topaz, and Aventurine; the right choice for your account still depends on your damage dealer, sustain, game mode, and investment.
What makes Robin effective with frequent attackers?
Robin is a five-star Physical Harmony character. Her Ultimate puts her into Concerto, immediately advances the other allies’ actions, and increases allies’ ATK. While Robin is in Concerto, allied attacks trigger additional Physical damage from her. The official HoYoWiki character entry describes these abilities.
That sequence explains why frequent attackers—especially characters who make follow-up attacks—are natural partners: they can make use of Robin’s team-wide buff and trigger her attack-based damage more often. Prydwen also notes that allied follow-up attacks contribute to Robin’s energy restoration. This is guide analysis of her synergy, not a universal ranking of every team.
What is Robin’s recommended premium team?
Feixiao / Robin / Topaz / Aventurine
HSR Guide lists Feixiao, Robin, Topaz, and Aventurine as Robin’s best team in its version 3.4 Robin guide, updated June 13, 2026. It is a dated guide recommendation, not an official verdict or a guarantee that the lineup is best for every player or game mode. It is most relevant if you own and have invested in these characters and want a team built around frequent attacks and follow-up attack synergy.

Which alternatives can fit your roster?
Clara and Yunli
HSR Guide names Clara with Yunli among the teams Robin pairs well with. Prydwen specifically describes Clara as a strong Robin partner. These are useful alternatives to consider if they are among your built damage dealers; the cited guides do not establish a controlled ranking against the Feixiao lineup.
Blade and Jingliu
HSR Guide also names Blade with Jingliu as a pairing for Robin. Treat it as another roster-dependent example, rather than evidence that the same team will outperform a follow-up-focused lineup in every mode.
Rank #2
- Honkai: Star Rail Express Travelogue Series Merchandise - Aventurine
Other follow-up attackers
Prydwen identifies Dr. Ratio, Topaz, and Aventurine among characters with follow-up attacks that can trigger Robin’s additional damage and energy restoration. These examples help explain the mechanic, but do not by themselves define a complete four-character team or establish a ranking for every possible combination.
How should you choose a Robin team?
- Start with your damage dealer. Choose a built character you want to play. Robin’s action advance and ATK buff can support allies broadly, while frequent attacks give more opportunities to trigger her additional damage.
- Consider attack frequency and follow-ups. If two candidate damage dealers are similarly built, the one whose team attacks more often—particularly through follow-up attacks—may make better use of Robin’s attack-triggered effects and energy restoration.
- Use a sustain you own and can build. Aventurine is part of HSR Guide’s premium lineup, but that recommendation does not make him mandatory. Select a sustain that fits your roster and the content you are playing.
- Check the guide’s version context. The Feixiao lineup is specifically HSR Guide’s version 3.4 recommendation. Team value can change with game version, mode, character builds, and investment; the cited guides offer examples and synergy analysis, not a comprehensive controlled comparison.
