The Rex Infernus Wonder Weapon is Warden’s Blight, a dual-wield crossbow. The Void Claw is a separate traversal tool used during the map quest—not the Wonder Weapon. Community guides report that you must activate Pack-a-Punch before starting the weapon route, which leads through forge and temple objectives to a switch puzzle and an anvil where you assemble Warden’s Blight.
What is the Wonder Weapon on Rex Infernus?
Warden’s Blight is the map’s Wonder Weapon. COD Central describes it as a dual-wield crossbow; the Void Claw is a distinct grapple and traversal item that appears during the unlock sequence. COD Central’s guide and the community walkthrough both place acquisition after Pack-a-Punch is active.
Activision introduced Rex Infernus as the final round-based Zombies map and the finale of the Black Ops 7 Zombies storyline. Season 05 Reloaded launched August 20, 2026; Activision said the Main Quest would become available at 9:00 AM PT that day. Its announcement frames the quest around cleansing Shadowsmith places of power, finding the Warden’s inner sanctum, and confronting the Warden. Activision’s announcement is the source for that launch context; it does not establish current reward availability.

How to get Warden’s Blight
The step sequence below is based on a community-written walkthrough, not official publisher instructions. It outlines the reported route rather than independently verifying every in-game trigger. - Solve the Dravakar Sanctuary switch puzzle. The walkthrough says this opens the route onward to the anvil.
- Reach the anvil and assemble Warden’s Blight. This is the endpoint of the weapon-building sequence described in the walkthrough.
The guide notes that Pack-a-Punched Warden’s Blight gains a charged, cyclone-style shot. Treat that as a guide-specific description, not an official weapon specification or a guarantee of behavior after later patches.
Quest details that can trip you up
Basketball symbols and the Exfil round
After obtaining Warden’s Blight, the walkthrough describes shooting a basketball lodged in the spawn-house roof and tracking four symbols across rounds. It says to shoot those symbols in the order they appear during an Exfil round. Check the full walkthrough for the route’s visuals and sequence details.

Eye of the Forge and Void Talon
The community route calls for a charged Warden’s Blight shot at the Eye of the Forge interaction in the house, followed by a lockdown. It then directs players to interact with a Void Claw pedestal to obtain the Void Talon. In the subsequent steps, the Void Talon is used on seals near Pack-a-Punch; the walkthrough then describes clearing webs, turning a crank, and locking a floor lever to control the Nexus Forge.
Veytharion Sanctuary cube puzzle
The walkthrough places four cubes at set locations for the Veytharion Sanctuary puzzle, but says the symbols represented by the cubes can vary from game to game. Identify the symbols in your run and use the sequence shown in the guide; do not assume a fixed symbol-to-location shortcut.
