The Apple App Store listing names both iPhone and iPad. Its minimum requirements are iOS 13.0 or later for iPhone and iPadOS 13.0 or later for iPad. If your device cannot update to those operating-system versions, the listing’s stated requirement is not met.

To check compatibility before downloading, open the App Store on the device, search for Reverse: 1999, and review the app’s compatibility section. The listing is the authoritative place to check whether Apple has changed the supported operating-system range for your region or device.
Windows PC through Steam
Steam lists a Windows PC version with Windows 10 64-bit as the minimum operating system. Avoid treating an unofficial download page, an emulator listing, or a search-result snippet as confirmation of an official Android release. If you need Android support, check the publisher’s current official distribution channels directly before installing anything.

What languages does Reverse: 1999 support?

The Apple listing also names English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. Apple’s cited listing does not break those languages into separate interface, subtitle, and audio categories, so its language line alone cannot prove that every named language has the same voice coverage on iPhone and iPad.

Steam lists full audio in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. Traditional Chinese appears for interface and subtitles but not for full audio. Selecting Traditional Chinese text therefore should not be understood as selecting a Traditional Chinese voice track.

Does Reverse: 1999 have English voice acting?
Yes. Steam’s store description says, “Full English Voice Acting with Authentic Accents.” This is a description of the game’s English voice option, not an attribution to a particular actor or cast member. The cited materials do not provide an official individual cast list.
English voice audio is listed alongside Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean full audio on Steam. You can therefore use English text with English voices, or combine English text with another listed audio language if the game’s settings allow that combination on your installation.
Can you change the voice language separately from the text language?
The distinction is supported by Steam’s separate interface/subtitle and full-audio lists, but the exact current settings workflow is not fully established by the cited store pages.
A launch FAQ reproduced by Dotgg described five language packs—Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean—and four voice-acting labels: Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean. In that sentence, the FAQ used “Chinese” without specifying whether it meant Simplified or Traditional Chinese. The same launch FAQ said players could download language resources and choose a default voice-acting language.

The present Steam listing confirms which written and audio languages are offered, but it does not document the current download prompts, menu names, or whether iPhone, iPad, and Windows expose exactly the same controls.
A practical way to check the setting
- Launch the game after installation and open its settings or options menu.
- Look for separate entries for language, text, subtitles, voice, or audio language. The wording can differ by platform and version.
- Choose the written language you want first, then inspect the available voice-language choices rather than assuming they are identical.
- If a voice option requires an additional download, allow the resource download over a reliable connection and restart the game if prompted.
- Play a voiced scene to confirm that the selected audio is active; menus may change before all voice resources finish downloading.
These steps describe what to look for, not a guaranteed set of labels. If your build does not show a separate voice selector, the launch FAQ’s older workflow may not match that version or platform.

This is the most straightforward English-language setup on Steam because English is listed in both the interface/subtitle and full-audio columns.

English text with Japanese, Korean, or Simplified Chinese voices
Steam lists all three of those languages for full audio as well as English for text and subtitles. The store data therefore supports these as plausible mixed-language choices, subject to the controls and downloaded resources available in your current build.

Traditional Chinese text
Traditional Chinese is listed for the interface and subtitles on Steam. It is not listed for full audio, so players choosing it should expect voiced dialogue, where present, to use one of the four audio languages shown by Steam rather than a Traditional Chinese track.
Apple-device language choices
Apple names the same five languages, but its cited listing does not specify the audio layer. On iPhone or iPad, confirm the available voice choices inside the installed game instead of inferring them solely from the App Store language line.

The voice option is listed but dialogue remains silent
Open the audio settings and verify that voice volume is enabled. Then check whether the required language resource has finished downloading. The launch FAQ described downloadable language resources, so a language choice may not become usable until its files are installed.
The game uses the wrong language after an update
Revisit both the written-language and voice-language controls rather than changing only the device’s system language. Store listings identify supported languages, but they do not promise that an operating-system change will automatically alter the game’s internal settings.
A language appears on one platform but not another
Do not assume that the Apple listing and Steam listing expose identical controls. Apple names five languages without separating audio and subtitles, while Steam publishes a detailed audio distinction.
