The REDMI Turbo 5 is the hardware-forward choice on paper, with a larger 120 Hz display, a higher listed battery capacity and 100 W wired charging. The Google Pixel 10a is more compact, supports Qi wireless charging and comes with Google’s seven-year update commitment. Neither phone can be declared the camera or battery-life winner from specifications alone.

Which phone has the better screen and size?
The Redmi has the larger display and higher stated resolution: its 6.59-inch AMOLED panel is 1268 × 2756 and supports refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The Pixel’s 6.3-inch pOLED screen is 1080 × 2424, with a 60–120 Hz range. Choose the Redmi if screen size and listed resolution matter most; choose the Pixel if you prefer a smaller phone. The figures do not establish which display looks better in everyday use.

Xiaomi lists a 7,540 mAh typical battery and 100 W wired charging for the Redmi, along with 27 W wired reverse charging. Google lists a 5,100 mAh typical battery for the Pixel and Qi-certified wireless charging. For its wired charging estimate, Google says the Pixel can reach up to 50% in about 30 minutes with a 45 W USB-C PPS charger or higher; that charger is sold separately.

Battery capacity and charging specifications are not comparable battery-life tests. They cannot establish which phone lasts longer between charges, and charging results depend on equipment and conditions.
Which phone has better cameras?
The Redmi’s listed rear cameras are a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8 MP ultrawide. The Pixel has a 48 MP wide camera and a 13 MP ultrawide; Google lists features including Night Sight and Macro Focus. The front cameras are listed at 20 MP for the Redmi and 13 MP for the Pixel.

These differences describe hardware and features, not comparative image quality. Megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better photos, and no controlled head-to-head photo result is established here. If camera quality is the deciding factor, look for comparable tests using the same scenes and conditions.
How long will each phone receive updates?
Google says the Pixel 10a will receive seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates. Xiaomi’s FAQ for the Redmi Turbo 5 states four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Those are manufacturer-stated support commitments; Google’s stated period is longer for both categories of updates.

What do the phones cost?
There is no universal price difference because the available figures refer to different markets and price contexts:
- Pixel 10a US launch price: Google announced $499 on February 18, 2026, with availability beginning March 5. This is the announced US launch price, not a worldwide or necessarily current price. Google’s launch announcement
- Pixel 10a US Store listing: The Google Store showed a starting price of $524, with $599 also displayed, when its specifications page was accessed on October 7, 2026. Store prices can change. Google Store specifications

Do not compare amounts from different countries as though they show a global price gap. For a useful local comparison, check the same storage capacity, tax treatment, seller type and warranty coverage, and confirm the current price before buying.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the REDMI Turbo 5 if
- You want the larger, higher-resolution display listed in these specifications.
- You prioritize the higher stated battery capacity, 100 W wired charging or wired reverse charging.
- You have confirmed that the exact local model is compatible with your carrier and has suitable warranty coverage.
Choose the Google Pixel 10a if
- You prefer a smaller display and Qi-certified wireless charging.
- You value Google’s listed camera tools, including Night Sight and Macro Focus.
- You want the longer manufacturer-stated update commitment.
For either phone, compare equivalent configurations and current local prices. Xiaomi’s India product page lists a power adapter, case and screen protector in the package, while warning that contents may vary by region. It also lists regional network bands and notes that carrier deployment affects support. Confirm the exact SKU, included accessories, local warranty and carrier-band compatibility before purchase.
