For buyers in India, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is the lower-priced option on the official listings reviewed, while the vivo V70 5G adds a dedicated telephoto camera. Xiaomi lists the Redmi from ₹39,999; vivo lists the V70 at ₹59,999 for its 8GB + 256GB model. That ₹20,000 gap is indicative, not a matched-variant checkout comparison: check current prices and the exact memory configuration before buying.

1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesHow much more does the vivo V70 cost?
Based on the official India listings accessed in 2026, the V70’s ₹59,999 price for 8GB + 256GB is ₹20,000 above Xiaomi’s ₹39,999 starting price for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. The Redmi figure is a starting price, whereas vivo’s figure identifies a particular configuration; the gap is therefore a useful headline comparison, not proof that equivalent variants cost exactly ₹20,000 apart.

Which phone has the better display?
The Redmi has the larger listed screen: 6.83 inches compared with 6.59 inches on the V70. Xiaomi also specifies 2772 × 1280 resolution, up to 120Hz refresh, 12-bit color, and advertises 3,200-nit peak brightness. vivo lists the V70’s AMOLED resolution as 2750 × 1260; the cited specifications do not state its refresh rate or a comparable peak-brightness figure.
Choose based on the size and display characteristics that matter to you. The published figures do not provide a controlled comparison of brightness, color accuracy, outdoor visibility, or panel quality.
How do their cameras differ?
Redmi: high-resolution main camera
Xiaomi lists a 200MP OIS main camera with an f/1.7 aperture and 1/1.4-inch sensor, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Its front camera is 32MP. This is the more straightforward fit if the headline specification you want is a high-resolution stabilized main camera.
vivo: dedicated telephoto lens
vivo lists a 50MP ZEISS OIS main camera, a separate 50MP ZEISS telephoto camera, and an 8MP ZEISS ultra-wide camera, plus a 50MP ZEISS group selfie camera. The dedicated telephoto gives the V70 a distinct camera layout for buyers who want a separate lens for zoom-oriented framing.
Megapixel counts and lens labels alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos. The available specifications do not provide comparable image samples or testing for zoom quality, low-light results, video, or color rendering.

Battery, charging, and durability
Both manufacturers list a typical 6,500mAh battery capacity. Xiaomi specifies a 100W charger in the box; vivo lists 90W fast charging. Rated capacity and charging power do not establish comparative battery life or charging time under the same conditions.
Xiaomi’s specifications list IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, and state that resistance testing is conducted under specific laboratory conditions. Treat these as manufacturer specifications, not a promise that every phone will remain protected in every situation or after wear and damage.
Software, connectivity, and what comes in the box
Xiaomi describes the Redmi as running HyperOS 3 on Android 15 and promises four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. Its India specifications list dual nano-SIM or nano-SIM plus eSIM support, with eSIM availability dependent on region and carrier; Wi-Fi 6/6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an in-box protective case are also listed.
The cited vivo V70 product information establishes its processor, memory options, cameras, battery, charging, display, and price, but does not state a comparable software-support commitment or equivalent connectivity and package details. Check vivo’s current product information and the exact retail package if those are deciding factors.

A third-party comparison page can help identify buying criteria, but its marketplace prices may vary and its listings may combine configurations; use manufacturer and seller pages to verify the exact model and current price.
