For the India-market 8GB/256GB models, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G has the lower observed official-store price and a higher-resolution display, while the vivo V60 adds a dedicated telephoto camera and a higher-resolution selfie camera. On listings captured on 7 October 2026, Xiaomi listed its phone at ₹39,999 and vivo listed the V60 at ₹43,999 MRP—a ₹4,000 difference. These are listed prices, not a guarantee of today’s checkout price.
Price difference for the 8GB/256GB models
The observed like-for-like difference is ₹4,000: Xiaomi’s official India store listed the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G at ₹39,999, while vivo’s official India store listed the V60 at its ₹43,999 MRP. Which phone has a telephoto camera?
The vivo V60 has a dedicated 50MP ZEISS OIS super telephoto camera, alongside its 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide cameras. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ instead lists a 200MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide, with no dedicated telephoto camera in the cited specifications.
That is a hardware distinction, not proof that one phone takes better photos. Megapixel counts do not determine image quality on their own, and no matched camera testing is available here. If you often photograph distant subjects, the vivo’s dedicated telephoto hardware is the clearer fit on paper. If you value a high-resolution primary sensor, Xiaomi lists the larger 200MP main camera.

Display differences
Xiaomi lists a larger, higher-resolution panel: 6.83 inches at 2772 × 1280, compared with the vivo’s 6.77 inches at 2392 × 1080. Both are AMOLED displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz. The listed peak brightness figures—3200 nits for Xiaomi and 5000-nit local peak brightness for vivo—use different manufacturer-defined metrics, so they do not establish which screen is brighter in ordinary use.

Battery, charging and what comes in the box
Both comparison listings show 6500mAh batteries. Xiaomi specifies a 100W charger in the box. A secondary comparison page reports 90W charging for the vivo V60, but the official vivo specification extract reviewed for this comparison did not show its charging section; check the exact India configuration and current listing rather than treating that figure as confirmed for every package.

The manufacturers list different included items:
- Xiaomi: adapter, USB Type-C cable, SIM tool and protective case.
- vivo: charger, cable, eject tool, phone case and applied protective film.
Box contents can vary by market or sales package, so verify the seller’s listing. Neither capacity nor charging wattage alone predicts how long a phone will last or how quickly it will charge in your conditions.
Software support and durability
Xiaomi’s product page states “4 Years of OS + 6 Years of Security Updates.” This is Xiaomi’s stated support policy, not independent confirmation of future delivery. Its product page also lists IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings and notes that water resistance applies under specific laboratory conditions and can degrade. Do not treat the rating as permission to expose the phone to water without regard to Xiaomi’s conditions.

Choose the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G if
- You prefer the lower observed official-store price for the 8GB/256GB configuration.
- You want the larger, higher-resolution display on the listed specifications.
- You value a 200MP OIS main camera and Xiaomi’s listed 100W in-box charger.
- Xiaomi’s published software-support policy and stated durability ratings suit your needs.
Choose the vivo V60 if
- A dedicated 50MP telephoto camera is more useful to you than a higher-resolution main sensor.
- You want the listed 50MP autofocus selfie camera.
- You are comfortable paying the higher observed official-store MRP for those camera features.
Before ordering, compare the current final price for the same storage configuration, verify charging and included accessories for the exact India variant, and consider how much weight you place on camera hardware, display resolution, software-support terms, durability certification and local warranty. These specifications do not establish which phone performs better in sustained gaming, takes better photos in practice or lasts longer on a charge.
