The comparison is not yet a reliable head-to-head buying decision: Xiaomi publishes official India specifications for the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, but the OnePlus N6 5G’s identity and specifications are not confirmed by an official OnePlus source. A third-party listing displays a ₹7,000 price gap, but its prices are undated. Treat the N6 details and price comparison as unverified until OnePlus confirms the model and a current India listing confirms its configuration and price.
What is confirmed—and what is not
Xiaomi’s India product page identifies the REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G and provides detailed specifications and support commitments. By contrast, a targeted search of OnePlus’s official domain did not verify an N6 5G product page. The figures below attributed to the N6 come from a third-party comparison listing, not official OnePlus documentation. That leaves the model name, release status, specifications, price and update policy unverified.
This distinction matters: the two sets of figures are not equally authoritative, so they should not be treated as a settled comparison between two officially confirmed India products.

How to read the display, camera and performance differences
Display
Xiaomi’s published figures specify a higher-resolution AMOLED panel, HDR formats and a peak-brightness figure. The third-party N6 listing describes a 720 × 1570 LCD panel. If those N6 details are accurate, the Redmi has the stronger paper specification for resolution and display technology; the N6 listing’s 120Hz figure alone does not make the two screens equivalent. Peak brightness is a stated specification, not a guarantee of the brightness sustained in every setting.
Cameras
The Redmi’s confirmed India specification includes optical image stabilization on its 200MP main camera and a separate 8MP ultrawide. Xiaomi describes its main camera as a fourth-generation 200MP system with a 1/1.4-inch sensor; that wording is Xiaomi’s product claim, not an independent image-quality test. The 91mobiles page lists a 50MP rear camera for the N6 but does not provide enough verified detail to compare its camera system comprehensively. Resolution by itself does not determine photo quality.

Chipset and everyday speed
The Dimensity 7400-Ultra specification for the Redmi comes from Xiaomi. The Dimensity 6360 Apex attribution for the N6 comes only from 91mobiles and needs official confirmation. Without verified N6 hardware and comparable, reproducible performance testing, benchmark or chipset labels cannot support a confident real-world speed verdict.
Battery, charging and durability
Xiaomi lists a 6,580mAh battery and 45W charging for the Redmi. The comparison page assigns the N6 an 8,000mAh battery and the same 45W charging, but those N6 figures are unverified. Capacity alone does not establish which phone lasts longer: actual runtime also depends on display, software, signal conditions and use.

Xiaomi claims IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K protection for the Redmi. Its specifications say resistance is tested under specific conditions and warn against use beyond them; Xiaomi also says the warranty does not cover liquid damage outside those conditions. An ingress-protection rating is not permission to deliberately expose a phone to water or pressure beyond the manufacturer’s stated test conditions. The N6’s IP64 claim is from the third-party listing only.
Software support and ownership horizon
For the India REDMI Note 15 Pro 5G, Xiaomi states four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. The 91mobiles comparison lists two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for the N6; OnePlus has not confirmed that commitment in the sources available here. Do not use that shorter term as a definitive basis for a purchase until it is checked against official documentation for the exact model and region.

Xiaomi lists HyperOS 3 for the Redmi. The listing’s Android 16 entry for the N6 is likewise a third-party claim. Software versions and support periods can vary by market, so confirm the India variant’s details before buying.
Price difference: why the ₹7,000 gap is not a live deal comparison
91mobiles displays ₹31,999 for the Redmi and ₹24,999 for the N6, an arithmetic difference of ₹7,000. The listing’s price date is unclear, and neither figure was checked against a live retailer page. The listed configurations also differ: Redmi appears with 128GB or 256GB storage, while the N6 entry shows 128GB. These are comparison-site displayed prices, not verified current or equivalent-configuration prices.

Before using the gap to choose, check the current India price, exact RAM and storage, seller, availability and official model name. A lower displayed price is not meaningful if the product identity or configuration is uncertain.
Which phone should you choose?
Consider the Redmi if
- You want a phone whose India model and core specifications are published by its manufacturer.
- The published AMOLED resolution, camera hardware, battery capacity or Xiaomi-stated update term matters to your decision.
- You want to compare the official 128GB and 256GB India configurations and can confirm the current price before purchase.
Do not choose the N6 on this comparison alone
The apparent lower price, larger battery and other listed advantages or trade-offs rely on a third-party entry that OnePlus has not officially confirmed in the sources cited here. First verify that “OnePlus N6 5G” is an officially released model, then confirm its India specifications, support policy and live price with OnePlus or an authorized seller. If that verification is unavailable, this comparison cannot establish that it is a genuine, directly comparable alternative.
