The Global REDMI Note 15 5G is the more straightforward choice for everyday essentials, with a 5520mAh battery, 45W charging and a 108MP main camera. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is built around a more advanced camera system, including a 1-inch main camera and a 200MP telephoto lens. There is no reliable universal price difference: Redmi Note 15 specifications vary by region, and Xiaomi’s published Ultra prices are launch prices rather than current local prices.

Xiaomi’s Global product page describes the REDMI Note 15 5G, while Xiaomi UK lists a distinct non-5G REDMI Note 15 with different hardware. Xiaomi Pakistan’s support FAQ gives January 15, 2026 as the launch date for the REDMI Note 15 5G in Pakistan; that date should not be treated as a universal release date. Which phone fits your priorities?
Choose the Global REDMI Note 15 5G if
- You want the listed combination of a 5520mAh typical battery and 45W charging.
- You need a less elaborate camera setup for general photos and value the 108MP main-camera specification.
- You are choosing among its listed storage configurations and can verify which one is sold in your market.
Consider the Xiaomi 17 Ultra if
- You want a dedicated telephoto camera with a published 75–100mm equivalent range, alongside a 1-inch main camera and ultra-wide camera.
- You are comparing high-end imaging hardware and want the Ultra’s listed camera system and video capabilities.

Price difference: launch prices are not current local prices
Xiaomi’s 2026 investor-relations presentation reports Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch starting prices of RMB 6,999 in mainland China and EUR 1,499 overseas. The presentation says the phone launched in mainland China in December 2025 and overseas in February 2026. Those figures are historical launch starting prices, not current street prices, and they do not establish the Ultra’s present price in any particular country.

A valid price difference requires prices for the exact Redmi model and Xiaomi 17 Ultra in the same country, at the same time, with storage configurations and seller terms accounted for. Do not subtract a current Redmi listing in one market from the Ultra’s European launch price. Xiaomi’s source is its 2025 fourth-quarter earnings presentation.
