What the specification differences mean
Display: a close match on paper
Both listings specify a 6.77-inch FHD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and the same 1080 × 2392 resolution. Those headline figures do not settle differences in brightness, color tuning, outdoor readability or viewing experience; the comparison does not provide a basis to declare one screen better in use.
Cameras: higher resolution is not a photo-quality verdict

The comparison lists IP65 for Redmi and IP54 for Nothing. These are different ingress-protection ratings, not a promise that either phone is waterproof. Check official specifications for the market where you plan to buy, and do not treat either rating as permission to submerge a phone.

India price difference: check the variant and date
Prices are snapshots, not a stable head-to-head quote. At the time reflected in Xiaomi India’s phone store, the Redmi Note 15 5G Black with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage was displayed at ₹28,999. Separately, 91mobiles showed Amazon India price indications of ₹28,999 for Redmi and ₹28,900 for Nothing; those marketplace indications are not official Nothing list pricing and may change with seller, stock and date. These displayed prices should not be confused with launch prices. Android Central reported India launch pricing of ₹22,999 for the starting Redmi Note 15 model and ₹24,999 for an 8 GB/256 GB model. Its report says the Redmi Note 15 launched in India on 6 January 2026 after global rollout and that 4G and 5G variants exist. A launch price for a different configuration or time is not a like-for-like current offer. The official current Nothing price and matching regional configuration are not established by the cited price indications.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose Redmi Note 15 5G if its current local price is competitive and you prioritize the higher listed battery capacity, charging power or camera resolution. Android Central reviewer Sanuj Bhatia praised the Redmi’s display, battery, slim and light body, and value, while criticizing inconsistent day-to-day performance and software that felt older. That is review judgment about Redmi, not a controlled comparison with Nothing. Read the Android Central review.
- Consider Nothing Phone 3a Lite if you prefer its design or Nothing OS enough to accept the lower listed battery and charging ratings. The available figures do not prove that every buyer will prefer its software or that its chipset performs better for every task.
