The OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G has the stronger specification sheet for battery capacity, charging, display resolution and refresh rate, and chipset tier. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 5G is lighter and thinner, lists a higher-resolution main camera and an ultra-wide rear camera, and appears cheaper in the cited India price snapshots. Those are specification and listed-price comparisons—not independent tests of battery life, speed or photo quality.

Which phone has the better battery?
On capacity and charging specifications, the Nord CE 6 5G leads: OnePlus lists an 8,000 mAh battery and 80 W charging, compared with Xiaomi’s 5,520 mAh and 45 W for the Redmi Note 15 5G. These figures do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges under particular conditions. Screen settings, workload, network reception, temperature and charging equipment can affect those results; no controlled endurance or charging test is cited here.
Which display is sharper and smoother?
The screen sizes are nearly identical: 6.77 inches on the Redmi and 6.78 inches on the Nord CE 6. The OnePlus is specified at 1.5K resolution and 144 Hz, while the Redmi comparison listing gives 1080 × 2392 and 120 Hz. That makes the Nord CE 6 the specification-led choice for resolution and maximum refresh rate. A higher refresh-rate ceiling does not mean every app or setting will run at that rate. OnePlus describes the display as “hyper-smooth” in its own product-page copy; that is promotional wording, not an independent display assessment.

Which chipset is more powerful?
The Redmi uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while the Nord CE 6 uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. The model naming places the OnePlus on the higher-tier platform on paper, making it the more promising pick if chipset class is your priority. A specification comparison alone cannot quantify gaming frame rates, app-launch speed, heat or sustained performance; no controlled head-to-head performance test is available in the cited material.
How do the cameras compare?
The Redmi’s listed rear hardware is a 108 MP main camera plus an 8 MP ultra-wide. OnePlus lists a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP secondary rear camera, alongside a 32 MP front camera; the Redmi front-camera listing is 20 MP. Redmi therefore offers the more clearly specified ultra-wide option, while OnePlus lists the higher-resolution selfie camera. OnePlus advertises 4K recording from the front and rear cameras on its product page.

These figures do not show which phone takes better photos or video. Megapixel count alone is not image quality: sensor characteristics, lens, image processing, stabilization and lighting also matter. The cited specifications do not establish a controlled camera comparison.

Which phone is easier to carry?
Smartprix lists the Redmi at 178 g and 7.35 mm thick, versus 215 g and 8.5 mm for the Nord CE 6. On those comparison figures, the Redmi is 37 g lighter and 1.15 mm thinner—a meaningful paper advantage if you prefer a lighter, slimmer handset. These measurements are comparison-site data, not a claim about how either phone feels in every case or grip.

What is the price difference in India?
The cited third-party Amazon price snapshots list the Redmi at ₹28,999 and the Nord CE 6 at ₹37,999. Those listings imply a ₹9,000 difference in that snapshot, but they may not represent the same storage configuration, seller or offer. Smartprix says its details were last updated September 15, 2026. Prices and stock can change, so check both checkout pages on the day you buy and compare the same storage tier and offer conditions. The snapshots are reported by 91mobiles and Smartprix.
OnePlus’s official India store separately lists ₹33,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB Nord CE 6 and ₹36,999 for the 8 GB/256 GB version, before exchange; it shows an MRP of ₹40,999 for the 128 GB model. These are official-store figures and should not be treated as the same offer or configuration as a third-party Amazon snapshot. Check the OnePlus store listing for current terms.

Software support and water resistance: verify the exact claim
Xiaomi’s current India page states four years of OS updates and six years of security patches for the Redmi Note 15 5G. Smartprix reports Android 15 for Redmi and Android 16 for OnePlus, but the cited OnePlus product page does not establish a comparable update-duration commitment. Do not assume the two phones will receive equal-length support based on those version listings alone.

Which one should you buy?
Choose the OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G if
- You prioritize the larger listed battery and faster rated charging.
- You want the higher specified display resolution and refresh-rate ceiling.
- You prefer the higher-tier chipset specification or a higher-resolution listed selfie camera.
Choose the Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 5G if
- You value a lighter, thinner body.
- You want an ultra-wide rear camera listed alongside the main camera.
- Your variant-matched current price check shows a meaningful saving over the OnePlus.
For a buyer choosing strictly from the published specifications, OnePlus has the edge in battery capacity, charging, display and chipset tier; Redmi’s clearest advantages are portability and rear-camera flexibility on paper. Make the final decision using current India prices for the storage variants you would actually buy, rather than treating separate offer snapshots as a fixed price gap.
