The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G has the stronger listed display, main-camera hardware and wired charging; the Redmi Note 15 models list larger batteries. But “Redmi Note 15” can mean either a 5G or 4G phone, so check the exact version before comparing prices or specifications.
Which Redmi Note 15 are you comparing?
Xiaomi publishes separate specifications for the Redmi Note 15 5G and Redmi Note 15 4G. They use different processors, battery capacities, charging rates and protection ratings. The comparison below keeps both versions distinct; the model and connectivity label on the seller’s listing should match the phone you intend to buy.

Camera: OIS is specified on the Pro+ main camera
Xiaomi lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) on the Note 14 Pro+ 5G, compared with a 108MP main camera on the Note 15 5G. The stated megapixel counts and stabilization hardware do not, by themselves, show which phone takes better photos. The Note 15 4G’s full camera configuration should be checked on the page for the regional version being sold.
Battery and charging: capacity favors Note 15, charging rate favors Pro+
The Note 15 5G’s listed typical capacity is 5520mAh and the Note 15 4G’s is 6000mAh, above the Pro+ 5G’s 5110mAh. The Pro+ has the highest listed wired charging rate at 120W, versus 45W for Note 15 5G and 33W for Note 15 4G. Capacity does not prove longer runtime, and charging wattage alone does not establish a specific charging time. Xiaomi says the Pro+ package does not include a power adapter.

Protection ratings: compare the stated rating, not a guarantee
Xiaomi lists IP68 for the Note 14 Pro+ 5G, IP66 for the Note 15 5G and IP64 for the Note 15 4G. These ratings reflect specified test conditions; they are not a promise that a phone will be protected in every real-world exposure.

There is no universal price difference established by the available listings. A Xiaomi India store result captured both the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 15 5G at a listed price of ₹28,999, while showing marketing prices of ₹34,999 and ₹36,999 respectively. The result does not establish that the configurations match, does not price the Note 15 4G, and is time-sensitive. Separately, Xiaomi’s January 10, 2025 international launch announcement gave the Note 14 Pro+ 5G a suggested starting retail price of USD 449. That is a historical launch MSRP, not a current price; see the Redmi Note 14 Series launch announcement.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which one should you choose?
- Choose the Note 14 Pro+ 5G if you prioritize the higher-resolution listed display, an OIS-equipped 200MP main camera, or the highest listed wired charging rate.
- Consider the Note 15 5G if you want 5G connectivity and prefer its listed 5520mAh typical battery capacity; weigh those priorities against its lower listed display resolution and 45W charging.
- Consider the Note 15 4G if the 4G model meets your connectivity needs and its listed 6000mAh typical battery capacity or local price matters most. Its specifications should be verified for your market.
Before deciding, match the exact 4G or 5G model, RAM and storage, network bands, included accessories, protection rating and current local price. The listed specifications alone do not establish an overall performance winner or which phone will last longer on a charge.
