For India buyers comparing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G with the OPPO A3 Pro 5G (CPH2665), Xiaomi’s global specifications list a sharper AMOLED display, a 200MP main camera and 120W charging. OPPO India’s CPH2665 specifications list a larger but lower-resolution LCD, a 50MP main camera and 45W charging. These are manufacturer-published specifications; the OPPO A3 Pro sold in China is a different device, and its specifications should not be mixed with the Indian model.
Which models are being compared?
This comparison uses OPPO’s India-market A3 Pro 5G, model CPH2665, and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G global specifications. Xiaomi’s page is global rather than a guarantee that every national SKU has identical specifications or package contents. Check the exact local variant before buying.
OPPO’s China-market A3 Pro is materially different from the India CPH2665: processor, display, cameras and battery differ. The specifications below apply only to the India model. OPPO India’s CPH2665 specifications and OPPO China’s A3 Pro specifications identify the separate regional devices.

What do the differences mean in everyday use?
Display: sharper panel or larger screen?
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has the higher-resolution AMOLED panel: 2712 × 1220 on a 6.67-inch screen. The India OPPO A3 Pro’s screen is physically larger at 6.94 inches but has a 1604 × 720 LCD panel. Both list a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, but that shared ceiling does not make their resolution or panel technology equivalent. The figures alone do not establish which screen looks better in person.
Cameras: more lenses and higher resolution on Xiaomi
Xiaomi lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. OPPO lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait camera. These specifications describe hardware, not comparative photo quality: megapixel counts alone cannot show which phone takes better pictures, and no independent camera test is available here.

Charging: compare the phone and its box
Xiaomi lists 120W HyperCharge and a typical 5110mAh battery, but says the adapter is not included. OPPO lists 45W SUPERVOOC, a typical 5100mAh battery, and a charger in the CPH2665 box contents. That makes package contents part of the comparison: confirm the exact Xiaomi package and the local OPPO SKU before budgeting for an adapter. Charging wattage and battery capacity do not, by themselves, establish real-world charging time or endurance.

Processors: specifications are not benchmark results
The listed chips are Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 for Xiaomi and MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 for the India OPPO. OPPO’s June 21, 2024 launch announcement describes the latter as a “6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G mobile platform” intended to deliver performance and 5G capabilities at lower power consumption. That is manufacturer language, not an independent performance or battery-efficiency comparison. No benchmark results are established here.

What is the price difference in India?
A current like-for-like price gap cannot be stated from the available official price information. OPPO India announced launch prices on June 21, 2024 of INR 17,999 for 128GB and INR 19,999 for 256GB. Those are dated launch prices, not verified current retail prices. The Xiaomi global specification page does not establish a current India price. See OPPO India’s launch announcement for the dated figures.
For a meaningful current comparison, check the manufacturers’ India stores or authorized sellers for both phones at the same time, matching storage capacity and sale conditions. Do not subtract an old OPPO launch price from a current Xiaomi listing—or treat the launch figures as today’s price.

Which phone should you choose?
On the published specifications, Xiaomi is the more compelling fit if your priorities are a high-resolution AMOLED screen, a multi-camera rear setup that includes an ultra-wide camera, or faster listed charging. The India OPPO may suit a buyer who prefers its larger screen or values a charger and case listed in the box. These are specification-based considerations, not conclusions from independent performance, camera, endurance or durability testing.
