The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G has the stronger-looking specification sheet for performance tier, camera hardware, battery capacity and charging speed. The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G costs less in the observed Xiaomi India store listings and carries a longer stated software-support period, though Xiaomi describes the two phones’ update policies differently. At the captured listings, the Note 15 SE was ₹3,000 cheaper; check the live price for the same storage configuration before deciding.
Price difference: the Note 15 SE was ₹3,000 less in observed listings
Xiaomi India’s official store search results showed the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G at ₹28,999 and the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G at ₹25,999, a displayed difference of ₹3,000. Both listings also showed a marketing price of ₹34,999. These are observed listing prices, not guaranteed checkout prices; discounts, stock and offers can change. Check Xiaomi India’s official store for current availability and pricing.
Do not treat those figures as a matched-variant comparison: the Note 14 Pro+ is listed in 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations, while the exact currently sold Note 15 SE storage SKU should be checked on its product listing. Compare the same storage tier where possible before concluding that one is cheaper for equivalent capacity.

Performance: the Note 14 Pro+ has the higher-tier listed chipset
Xiaomi lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 for the Note 14 Pro+ and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for the Note 15 SE. That makes the Note 14 Pro+ the stronger on-paper choice if chipset tier is a priority. It does not establish how much faster the phone feels in everyday use or gaming; no controlled comparative performance test is available here.
Cameras: the Note 14 Pro+ offers more kinds of rear cameras
The Note 14 Pro+ specification lists separate 50MP main and 2.5x telephoto cameras, plus an 8MP ultrawide. Xiaomi describes the Note 15 SE as having a 50MP dual AI camera system and 4K recording. The Pro+ therefore lists more camera-module variety, especially a dedicated telephoto lens. Hardware specifications alone cannot determine which phone produces better photos or video.

The Note 14 Pro+ lists a 6200mAh typical battery and 90W charging, compared with 5800mAh and 45W for the Note 15 SE. Those are capacity and rated-charging figures, not tested battery life or charging times. Its IP68 rating is also clearer in Xiaomi’s listed specification than the Note 15 SE page’s IP66 headline and IP65/IP66 wording later on. Buyers considering the SE should confirm the rating for the specific sale variant.

Software support: compare Xiaomi’s promises as written
Xiaomi lists the Note 14 Pro+ as running Android 14 with HyperOS and states “3+4 years SW updates.” For the Note 15 SE, Xiaomi specifies four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. Because the first policy uses a broader “SW updates” phrase while the second separates OS and security support, these should not be collapsed into an identical like-for-like duration. If support longevity is decisive, check Xiaomi’s current regional policy details for the exact model.
