This comparison uses the regional specifications published by Xiaomi for the Redmi 15 and realme’s Middle East and Africa (MEA) page for the C85; it is not a universal comparison of every 4G and 5G version. Check the exact model, country, and RAM/storage configuration before buying: both manufacturers say configurations can vary by region. Xiaomi’s global product page and realme’s MEA specification page are the references for the figures below.
Redmi 15 vs realme C85 specifications
The clearest listed difference is screen resolution: the Redmi 15 specification has a sharper FHD+ panel, while the C85 has an HD+ panel. Both list a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a typical 7000mAh battery. The C85 lists faster charging wattage, but that does not establish how much faster it charges in practice.

Which screen is better for reading and video?
On the cited regional specifications, the Redmi 15’s 2340 × 1080 resolution packs substantially more pixels into a slightly larger 6.9-inch display than the C85’s 1570 × 720, 6.8-inch display. That makes the Redmi the stronger choice on paper for fine text and detailed images. Actual viewing also depends on factors such as brightness, calibration, and content, which these specifications do not compare.

The refresh-rate ceiling is the same: up to 144Hz on both listed pages. A higher refresh rate can make supported scrolling and motion look smoother, but the shared maximum does not mean the displays have identical image quality or that every app runs at 144Hz.
Are the battery and charging differences meaningful?
Both manufacturer pages list a 7000mAh typical battery. That establishes equal stated capacity, not equal battery life: screen, software, network conditions, and use affect endurance, and no comparable independent battery test is established here. Xiaomi’s “Go for days, not hours” is marketing wording, not an independently measured result.

The C85’s listed 45W charging is higher than the Redmi 15’s 33W specification. Wattage alone cannot tell you the time to charge: charging curves, temperature, and other conditions matter. No directly comparable charging-time test is available in the cited material.
Package contents are market-dependent. Xiaomi’s Romania page says the power adapter is not included and recommends a Xiaomi 33W adapter; the realme MEA page includes a charger in its package list. Confirm the box contents for the exact local listing rather than assuming either package is identical worldwide.

Do the cameras or processors make one the clear winner?
Camera hardware
Both cited manufacturer specifications list a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. Megapixel counts do not establish image quality, and no controlled side-by-side photo test was found in the cited material. Choose based on sample photos or independent testing of the exact regional models if camera performance is decisive.
Processor and connectivity variant
Do not assume every C85 has the same processor. The realme MEA specification page identifies Snapdragon 685, while a 91mobiles comparison listing also presents a C85 variant with MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Xiaomi’s global Redmi 15 page identifies Snapdragon 685. Confirm the processor and network variant on the seller’s exact SKU; the available specifications do not establish a benchmark winner.

What is the price difference?
There is no stable, universal price gap to report without a country, date, and matched storage configuration. One 91mobiles India page snapshot lists Amazon prices of ₹21,499 for the Redmi 15 and ₹20,999 for the C85—a ₹500 difference in that displayed snapshot. A separately indexed version shows ₹21,499 and ₹21,490, and the comparison page includes more than one C85 configuration. These are page snapshots, not launch prices or guaranteed current offers.

Which phone should you buy?
- Choose the Redmi 15 if display detail matters most. Its cited FHD+ resolution is the clearest specification advantage.
- Consider the C85 if the local matched listing costs less or its higher listed charging wattage suits you. Verify the exact processor, network version, and included charger first.
- Do not decide from battery capacity or camera megapixels alone. Both list the same typical battery capacity and camera resolutions, but those numbers do not establish real-world endurance or photo quality.
Before paying, verify the exact regional model, RAM/storage, network variant, seller price, and package contents. The manufacturer figures here support a display-resolution comparison, but do not settle which phone performs better overall.
