The best rechargeable light bar depends on where you’ll use it. For a kitchen or wardrobe, compare slim under-cabinet bars by length, brightness, mounting, and runtime. For a workshop or vehicle, look at portable task lights; for under-hood work, a dedicated area light may fit better. The product specifications below are manufacturer or retailer claims, not results from a head-to-head test. The available listings do not establish universal availability, so check stock and model details with sellers in your region.
Choose the type of light bar for your job
Cabinet and wardrobe bars
Slim rechargeable bars are designed to illuminate counters, cupboards, or wardrobes. They typically attach with a magnetic bracket or adhesive mount and can be removed for charging. Consider the fixture’s length and listed output alongside its controls and charging connector.
Portable work lights
Portable task lights are intended for broader use in garages, shops, vehicles, or on job sites. Their mounting features, such as magnets or hooks, can matter as much as brightness when you need to position a light hands-free.

Under-hood and emergency area lights
A dedicated under-hood or emergency light is a different tool from a cabinet bar. It may be designed to span an engine bay or illuminate a larger work area, so compare it with other lights for that purpose rather than ranking it against a kitchen fixture.

Feit’s figures are listed on its product pages; the Energetic details come from Costco’s retail listing. Treat these as stated specifications rather than independently measured results. In particular, the Energetic runtime varies substantially with brightness, so its longest figure applies only at the 10% setting.
A modular-length option
TLW Global’s 2026 brochure describes a slim rechargeable range with USB-C charging, a built-in PIR sensor, CRI greater than 80, and magnetic plates, 3M VHB adhesive pads, or brackets. Its listed lengths and outputs are 200 mm at 120 lumens, 350 mm at 230 lumens, 450 mm at 260 lumens, and 750 mm at 450 lumens. The brochure does not provide runtime figures in the cited specifications.

Do not read the DCL182’s high-mode brightness and low-mode runtime as if they describe the same operating setting. DEWALT lists them separately. The LitezAll figure likewise applies specifically to high-beam mode.

How to choose between them
- For a counter or cupboard: Match bar length to the area you need to illuminate, then check brightness, dimming or timer controls, and whether the fixture detaches from its mount for charging.
- For a wardrobe or longer run: Consider the available lengths and mounting options. TLW Global’s brochure lists four lengths, while Feit’s cited models range from 12.5 to 16.5 inches.
- For a garage or vehicle: Favor a portable task light with useful positioning features. Compare runtime only at the mode you expect to use, and check whether the required power adapter is included.
- For under-hood or emergency use: Consider a purpose-built area or under-hood light, such as the Nightstick SLR-2120, rather than assuming a slim cabinet bar will serve the same role.
- For frequent charging: Check the connector, charge-time conditions, and included accessories. A stated charging time may depend on a particular power supply that is not bundled.
- Before ordering: Verify the exact model, current specification, seller stock, and availability in your region. The cited product pages and listing do not prove that any model is available everywhere.
An alternative cabinet-light shape
If a bar is not necessary, Feit’s BPUCLPUCK/830/BAT is a motion-sensing puck fixture rather than a light bar. Feit lists 100 lumens, up to 6 hours of continuous use, and up to three hours to reach a full charge. It is a different form factor, not a direct bar comparison.
