There are two different phones called realme P4 Lite in India: the P4 Lite 4G and P4 Lite 5G. Against the P4 Lite 5G, the realme P4x offers a higher-resolution FHD+ display, a Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor and 45W charging; both list a 7000mAh battery and up to 144Hz refresh rate. The P4 Lite 4G is a more basic 90Hz, 6300mAh phone. Check which Lite model you mean before comparing specifications or prices.
Which realme P4 Lite are you comparing?
realme India sells a P4 Lite 4G and a P4 Lite 5G. They are distinct models, not regional names for the same specifications. The P4 Lite 5G launched in India on March 19, 2026; the P4x was announced on December 4, 2025. See realme’s P4 Lite 5G page and P4x specifications.
The comparison below focuses first on the P4 Lite 5G. If a retailer listing says only “P4 Lite,” confirm the network variant and exact storage configuration before using its specifications or price.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not comparative test results. realme’s P4x specification page gives its battery, charging, display and camera details. The P4 Lite 5G product page lists its display, battery, camera and IP64 rating. Configurations and software can vary by region and SKU.

Performance and display: what the specifications tell you
The P4x has the higher-tier named chipset of the pair: Dimensity 7400 Ultra rather than the P4 Lite 5G’s Dimensity 6300. That makes the P4x the clearer choice on paper if processor specification is your priority. The published chipset names alone do not establish how either phone performs in games or everyday use; no independent comparative testing is established here.
Both phones list a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz, so refresh rate does not distinguish them. The P4x’s 6.72-inch screen is explicitly listed as FHD+ at 1080 × 2400. The P4 Lite 5G has a slightly larger 6.8-inch screen and a stated maximum brightness of 900 nits, but the cited official excerpt does not establish its resolution. Do not treat the shared refresh-rate figure as proof that the panels have the same resolution or overall image quality.
Battery, charging and cameras
Both 5G models list a 7000mAh battery. realme provides typical and rated capacities for the P4x: 7000mAh typical and 6830mAh rated. The P4x also lists maximum 45W charging and SuperVOOC support; the cited P4 Lite 5G page excerpt does not establish its charging rate. Capacity and charging specifications do not predict comparative battery life without testing under matched conditions.
On paper, the P4x has more rear-camera hardware: a 50MP main camera plus a 2MP monochrome camera, versus the P4 Lite 5G’s 13MP AI camera. Megapixel counts and camera-module descriptions are not image-quality tests, so they do not establish which phone takes better photos.

How the P4 Lite 4G differs
If the listing is for the 4G model, do not apply the P4 Lite 5G specifications above. realme’s P4 Lite specifications page lists a 6.74-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 563-nit maximum brightness, a 6300mAh battery, a 13MP AI camera and IP54 resistance. Its visible specification excerpt describes an octa-core processor but does not name the model. It is not the Dimensity 6300 P4 Lite 5G.
The P4x is listed as a 5G phone. The P4 Lite 4G is a 4G model, so verify the network variant rather than assuming that a generic “P4 Lite” listing supports 5G.

Price difference: compare the exact variants at checkout
A reliable current price gap between the P4x and either P4 Lite variant is not established. Retail prices and offers change, and a comparison is meaningful only when it matches storage, seller and purchase conditions. realme’s P4 Lite 5G page and P4x page provide product information, but do not use a changing marketplace snapshot as a lasting price difference.

- Match RAM and storage capacity for the two phones.
- Compare the same retailer and note the date, seller and stock status.
- Compare payable prices separately from bank, exchange or other conditional offers.
Without that matched check, it would be misleading to say one model costs a specific amount more than the other.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose the P4x for the stronger specification sheet on processor and display resolution. It lists Dimensity 7400 Ultra, an FHD+ panel and up to 45W charging.
- Consider the P4 Lite 5G if you want its larger listed screen and 900-nit maximum-brightness specification. It shares the P4x’s listed 7000mAh capacity and 144Hz maximum refresh rate, but has a Dimensity 6300.
- Consider the P4 Lite 4G only if that is the actual model you intend to buy. Its listed display is 90Hz and its battery is 6300mAh; it is not interchangeable with the P4 Lite 5G.
Before paying, check the exact model name, network variant, storage tier and current seller price. The published specifications can narrow the choice, but they do not replace independent evidence about gaming, battery endurance, camera output or durability.
