Third-party price snapshots put the Lava ₹2,000 higher, but current listings vary, so compare the same memory variant and seller before buying.

How the displays differ
The Lava’s clearest screen distinction is its curved AMOLED panel. AMOLED technology and the curved design are the main reasons to lean toward it if those features matter to you. The realme is listed with an LCD panel, but its stated 144 Hz refresh rate is higher than the Lava’s 120 Hz.
Both are described as FHD+ displays, and the diagonal sizes are close: 6.72 inches for the realme and 6.67 inches for the Lava. Refresh rate describes how often a screen can update; it does not, by itself, establish that one phone will feel smoother in every app or use more power in a predictable way.

Unlocked design supports global mainstream network bands, compatible with various operators, perfect for daily communication, travel and outdoor scenarios.
Battery capacity is not a runtime result
The realme is listed with a 7,000 mAh battery, compared with 6,000 mAh for the Lava. That is a capacity advantage on paper, not evidence of a specific number of extra hours. Actual endurance depends on workload, signal conditions, display settings, software and other factors; no comparable battery test is established by these listings.
realme India lists 45 W charging for the P4x. The cited comparison pages do not provide a comparable Lava charging figure, so they do not support a charging-speed winner.
Camera figures: what they do and do not tell you
Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera. The realme listing adds a 2 MP mono camera; the Lava listing specifies a 13 MP front camera versus 8 MP for the realme. The higher front-camera resolution may appeal to shoppers who prioritize selfie-camera specifications, but megapixel counts alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos. The available figures do not include comparable image-quality testing.

realme’s product page names a Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, while comparison pages list the Lava with a Dimensity 7100. Those model names identify different chipsets, but the cited material does not provide comparable benchmark results or workload testing. It is not enough to conclude that one phone is faster in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads.
realme advertises “780,000+ Antutu Score” on its product page. That is a manufacturer marketing claim, not an independently verified, comparable test result for these two phones.

Weight and everyday handling
Comparison data list the Lava at about 184 g and the realme at about 208 g, a difference of roughly 24 g. If that gap is confirmed on the exact models sold, the Lava’s lower listed weight may matter to shoppers who prefer a lighter phone. These are comparison-page figures, rather than a verified manufacturer specification for both devices.
Price difference and availability in India
As reported around October 3, 2026, Smartprix lists the realme at ₹21,999 and the Lava at ₹23,999. Gadgets Now shows the same pair of prices, making the Lava ₹2,000 higher in those snapshots. By contrast, 91mobiles lists the realme at ₹22,999 and marks the Lava unavailable in its displayed store snapshot.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the realme P4x if the larger listed battery capacity or higher stated refresh rate is more important to you, or if the cited ₹21,999 snapshot matches a live listing for the variant you want.
- Consider the Lava Virat Curve 5G if you value a curved AMOLED display, a higher listed selfie-camera resolution or the lower listed weight, and can confirm a current listing and its specifications.
- Decide after checking live prices if cost is the deciding factor: the available third-party snapshots disagree on the realme’s price and Lava’s availability.
These recommendations follow the listed specifications and price snapshots, not hands-on testing. The figures alone cannot settle which phone has better camera quality, longer real-world battery life or stronger performance in your own use.
