Which display suits your priorities?
The P4x lists a higher maximum refresh rate, up to 144Hz, on its LCD. The M47 lists a Super AMOLED panel with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. A higher refresh-rate ceiling does not by itself establish better image quality, brightness, color, or smoothness in every app; choose based on panel preference and actual viewing needs rather than the number alone.

On the manufacturers’ typical-capacity figures, the P4x is listed at 7000mAh and the M47 at 6000mAh. Both list charging up to or at 45W. Those figures do not establish real-world battery life or charging time, which can vary with usage and conditions.

Package contents may affect the cost of getting started: realme lists a charger and protective case for the P4x, while Samsung says the M47 fast charger is sold separately. Verify the exact regional package before purchase.
Camera hardware: what the specifications do and do not tell you
Samsung lists a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside 5MP and 2MP rear cameras, plus a 12MP front camera. realme lists a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome rear camera, with an 8MP front camera. These hardware details do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; that requires comparable camera testing.

Software support and launch timing
Samsung states that the Galaxy M47 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch date. Its product information lists June 29, 2026 as the M47 launch date. The realme P4x specifications page lists realme UI 6.0 but does not establish a comparable support duration, so the available information does not support a like-for-like longevity comparison.

What is the price difference in India?
A reliable current price difference for matching configurations is not established here. Prices can differ by RAM and storage tier, seller, stock, delivery location, and time-limited bank or exchange offers. Before deciding which is better value, check both phones on the same date and compare the same configuration. Separate the seller’s listed price from any conditional offer, and confirm that delivery is available in your location. Do not treat an unmatched or undated comparison figure as a current price.

Which phone should you choose?
- Consider the realme P4x 5G if its listed larger battery, higher refresh-rate ceiling, LCD panel, or included charger and case matter most to you.
- Consider the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G if you prefer Super AMOLED, want the listed OIS-equipped main camera and higher-resolution selfie camera, or prioritize Samsung’s stated software-support policy.
- Compare live prices before deciding on value. Without matching, current prices and offer conditions, there is no defensible price-based winner.
