The POCO X8 Power 5G is the battery-capacity pick on paper, while the realme P3 Ultra pairs a smaller battery with a Dimensity 8350 Ultra chipset and a curved 120Hz display. For India buyers, the right choice depends on which trade-off matters most—and on the exact RAM/storage variant and live price, since the available listings do not establish a like-for-like price gap.
realme P3 Ultra vs POCO X8 Power 5G: specifications
The realme P3 Ultra figures below are from realme’s manufacturer page. POCO X8 Power 5G specifications are attributed to launch reporting and a third-party listing because a POCO technical specification page for this exact model was not available among the cited sources.
| Specification | realme P3 Ultra | POCO X8 Power 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Chipset | MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra, according to realme | Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, according to 91mobiles |
| Battery and charging | 6,000mAh battery and 80W charging, according to realme | 10,000mAh battery and 100W charging, as described in launch reporting and the 91mobiles listing |
| Display | 120Hz quad-curved display, according to realme | 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, according to 91mobiles |
| Rear cameras | Sony 50MP OIS main camera, according to realme | 50MP + 8MP rear cameras, according to 91mobiles |
Battery and charging: POCO leads on stated capacity
The POCO’s listed 10,000mAh capacity is substantially larger than the P3 Ultra’s manufacturer-stated 6,000mAh battery, and its listed 100W charging is higher than realme’s 80W. These are specification comparisons, not evidence of how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it reaches a full charge. Usage, software, network conditions, and charging conditions affect those outcomes; no controlled head-to-head battery or charging test is established by the cited sources.
Performance: chipset names are not a head-to-head result
realme identifies the P3 Ultra’s processor as the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra. The POCO X8 Power 5G’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 is reported by 91mobiles. The chip names alone do not establish which phone is faster in games, sustained workloads, or everyday use. The cited material provides no controlled benchmark or thermal comparison, so choose based on independently verified testing for the specific games or workloads you care about rather than assuming a winner from the specifications.

Display and cameras: compare the features you value
Curved versus flat-screen preference
realme specifies a 120Hz quad-curved display. 91mobiles lists the POCO with a 6.83-inch AMOLED 120Hz display. The listed size and refresh rate are useful distinctions, but the available POCO listing does not establish all panel details. A curved screen and a larger listed display can feel different in hand; if touch behavior, glare, or edge appearance matters to you, inspect the exact phone before buying.
Camera specifications are not image-quality tests
realme calls out a Sony 50MP OIS main camera, while the POCO listing describes 50MP and 8MP rear cameras. Megapixel counts and the presence of optical image stabilization do not, on their own, prove which phone takes better photos or video. No independent camera comparison is established by the cited sources.
India prices: check the exact configuration and listing date
A 91mobiles listing dated October 6, 2026, shows the POCO X8 Power 5G at ₹35,999 for 8GB/128GB and ₹38,999 for 8GB/256GB. These are listing prices, not guaranteed retailer checkout totals; stock, seller, offers, and discounts can change the amount payable.

Comparison listings show the realme P3 Ultra at different price points, including ₹31,999 for a base listing and ₹33,499 for a 12GB/256GB listing. Those figures do not form a reliable direct price comparison with the POCO variants above because configuration, seller, timing, and offer terms are not consistently matched. Check the same RAM/storage capacity, seller, and current checkout terms before deciding which is better value.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which one should you buy for battery, performance, and price?
Choose the POCO X8 Power 5G if battery capacity is your priority
Its reported 10,000mAh battery and 100W charging make it the more battery-focused option by stated specifications. Treat that as a capacity and charging-spec advantage, not a guarantee of longer runtime or faster real-world charging.
Choose the realme P3 Ultra if its stated platform and curved display suit you
The P3 Ultra is the clearer fit if you prefer its manufacturer-stated Dimensity 8350 Ultra platform and 120Hz quad-curved display. This is a feature match, not a claim that it outperforms the POCO in a benchmark or that its camera is better.

Make price the deciding factor only after matching variants
Compare the precise storage and RAM configuration you intend to buy, then confirm the seller’s live price and final checkout amount. The available price points do not support a single dependable claim that one model is a fixed amount cheaper.
Avoid confusing the POCO X8 Power 5G with the POCO X8
They are different models. POCO’s official page for the vanilla POCO X8 lists an 8,340mAh battery and 67W charging; those specifications do not substantiate the X8 Power 5G’s reported 10,000mAh battery and 100W charging. A POCO India statement reproduced by Gadgets 360 on August 28, 2026, about the POCO X8 likewise refers to the vanilla model, not the X8 Power 5G. Check the full model name when comparing listings.
