The Realme Narzo N63 stands out for its distinctive vegan-leather-style finish and quick 45W charging, but its entry-level processor and 720p display keep it firmly in budget-phone territory. In 91mobiles’ 2024 review, it reached a full charge in about 69 minutes; that strong result does not make it the best choice for gaming, demanding multitasking, or 5G.
What the Narzo N63 gets right—and where it compromises
The Narzo N63’s appeal is easy to summarize: it looks more distinctive than many low-cost phones and charges unusually quickly for its class. The trade-off is that its display and performance are basic. It makes most sense for someone who values design and short charging times over sharp visuals, heavy gaming, or faster mobile-network support.
91mobiles rated it 7.5/10 overall in its review, published 19 June 2024 and updated 20 June 2024. The category scores were 8.0 for design, 7.0 for display, 7.5 for software, 6.5 for camera, 7.0 for performance, and 8.0 for battery. These are that publication’s review-era assessments, not a current retest.
Does the Narzo N63 really charge fast?
Yes. The official specification is 45W charging, and 91mobiles measured about 69 minutes to charge from 20% to 100% in its review. Under that review’s conditions, the measured times for its named alternatives were 110 minutes for the Moto G24 Power, 138 minutes for the itel P55, and 127 minutes for the Infinix Hot 40i. Results from different reviews may not be directly comparable, but these figures show why charging is the N63’s clearest strength in that comparison.

Realme specifies a 5000mAh typical-capacity battery and 4880mAh rated capacity. In the 91mobiles test, it recorded 13 hours 30 minutes on the PCMark battery test, which the reviewer described as comparatively low for the segment; an intensive two-hour test used 23% of the charge. Treat these as results from that review, not guarantees for every device or usage pattern. Realme’s product page also advertises “1min charge for 1hr call” and other use-time figures; these are manufacturer claims, not independent measurements.
Realme says the charging system has TÜV Rheinland Safe Fast-Charge System Certification and that the charger, cable, battery, and IC were tested. That is the company’s description; the review does not independently verify the certification.
How does it look and feel?
Realme lists the Narzo N63 in Leather Blue and Twilight Purple, describes the rear finish as vegan leather, and gives its thickness as 7.74mm on the India product page. The styling is a genuine point of difference in a budget handset, though the material description and dimensions are manufacturer specifications rather than an independent durability assessment.
Realme also promotes a “48-month Fluency Certification” and “4 years of lag-free use.” These should be read as company claims, not a promise that every user’s phone will remain lag-free for four years. The available review did not establish long-term durability.
Is the display good enough?
The screen is large and smooth, but not especially sharp. Realme specifies a 6.74-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 560-nit peak brightness; GSMArena lists it as a 720 × 1600 IPS LCD. The higher refresh rate can make scrolling look smoother than on a standard-refresh display, but it does not remove the resolution trade-off. 91mobiles also found outdoor brightness could be better.
What performance and software should you expect?
The phone uses a Unisoc T612 and was offered with up to 4GB of physical RAM and up to 128GB of storage, with microSD expansion. In 91mobiles’ testing, everyday use and casual games were satisfactory, but the reviewer noticed occasional lag while browsing and strain when issuing many commands. That makes it suitable for light use, not a strong pick for heavy multitasking or demanding games.
Realme’s “4GB+4GB Dynamic RAM” wording combines physical memory with virtual memory; it does not mean the handset has 8GB of physical RAM. The review reported Realme UI based on Android 14 out of the box, along with some third-party apps that could be uninstalled. It also reported a brand promise of one major OS upgrade and up to two years of software updates. That is the promise reported at review time, not confirmation of current support status.

How capable are the cameras?
The review found daylight photos decent, but its comparisons show that results depend on the scene and camera. In one daylight comparison with the Moto G24 Power, the Narzo produced natural color and exposure; in a separate daylight comparison, the itel P55 preserved shadows better. In low light, 91mobiles found the Moto G24 Power clearly sharper and the itel P55 slightly clearer than the Narzo.
In the cited selfie comparison, the Infinix Hot 40i rendered skin texture more faithfully, while the Narzo selfie had a warmer tone and better exposure. These are specific findings from one review, not a universal ranking of the phones’ cameras.

- Air Gestures: The official product page lists gesture controls as a feature.
- IP54 rating: Realme lists IP54 water resistance. This means dust protection and resistance to splashes as described in the source; it does not mean the phone is waterproof.
- No 5G: 91mobiles notes that the Narzo N63 lacks 5G support.
- Mono speaker: The review identifies a single-channel speaker, a limitation for stereo playback.
How much did it cost at launch in India?
These are historical launch prices, not current offers. India Today reported the following configurations and launch pricing in June 2024:
| Configuration | Reported launch price |
|---|---|
| 4GB RAM / 64GB storage | ₹8,499 |
| 4GB RAM / 128GB storage | ₹8,999 |
Both configurations have 4GB of physical RAM. India Today reported an introductory ₹500 reduction through 14 June 2024 and sales beginning 10 June 2024 on realme.com and Amazon.in. Check a current listing for the exact variant, stock, and price before deciding whether it is good value.

Who should buy the Realme Narzo N63?
Consider it if you want a distinctive-looking budget phone, value fast charging, and mainly use your handset for everyday tasks, casual games, and daylight photography. Look elsewhere if you need 5G, a sharper screen, consistent performance under heavy workloads, a stereo speaker, or stronger low-light camera results. Since the prices above are from launch in 2024, base a present-day buying decision on the exact listing available to you.
