The realme GT 8 Pro and iQOO 15 Ultra share the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, but their listed hardware points to different priorities: iQOO adds gaming-focused cooling and controls, while realme advertises a 200 MP telephoto camera and faster rated charging. There is no dependable universal price difference: the available figures come from different markets and conflicting third-party snapshots.
How the specifications compare
The realme figures below are from realme’s India specifications page, accessed in 2026. The iQOO details are reported in an iQOO Community thread about its China launch; that thread is not a global product page. Regional versions and configurations may differ.

Specifications do not settle real-world performance. Both list the same main processor, but that does not establish equal sustained gaming speed or heat management. Likewise, display size and refresh-rate figures do not establish brightness or adaptive-refresh behavior in use.
Which phone has the better display?
On paper, the realme offers a more explicitly stated resolution: QHD+ at 3136 × 1440 on a 6.79-inch AMOLED panel. The iQOO community launch thread lists a slightly larger 6.85-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate, but does not give a resolution in the cited details. LTPO is a panel technology distinction, not by itself proof of better image quality or battery life. For a practical comparison, look for comparable regional specifications and independent measurements of brightness, refresh behavior and color accuracy.

Which has the stronger camera hardware?
The rear-camera layouts differ most clearly at the telephoto camera: realme lists a 200 MP telephoto, while the iQOO launch thread lists a 50 MP 3× telephoto. Both list 50 MP main and ultrawide cameras. Megapixel counts alone cannot show which phone takes better photographs; sensor size, stabilization, lens characteristics, image processing and tested results matter. The listed information is not a comparative camera test, so it does not establish a camera winner.
Which is better for gaming?
The iQOO has the more explicitly gaming-oriented listed hardware. Its China launch thread names a Q3 gaming chip, an active cooling fan and pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers in addition to the Snapdragon platform. Those controls and cooling components may matter to someone who plays games that support trigger input or sustains demanding sessions. The available specifications do not provide comparable gaming benchmarks, temperatures or frame-rate tests, so they do not prove that it performs better in every game.

The realme specifications page does not claim a dedicated fan or shoulder triggers. That is a difference in the cited feature lists, not proof that one phone is better for every gaming use case.

Realme specifies a 7,000 mAh typical battery, 120 W wired charging and up to 50 W wireless charging. The iQOO community thread reports a 7,400 mAh battery, 100 W wired charging and 40 W wireless charging. These are listed capacities and charging ratings—not independently measured battery endurance or charge times. The larger stated iQOO capacity does not by itself establish longer runtime, and the higher realme wired rating does not establish a particular time to full charge.

What is the price difference?
The available price figures do not support a reliable, current, like-for-like price difference. A 91mobiles comparison snapshot accessed in 2026 showed ₹72,999 for the realme GT 8 Pro and marked the iQOO unavailable. A Smartprix comparison snapshot accessed in 2026 showed ₹72,999 for realme and ₹99,990 for iQOO. The snapshots may not reflect current stock or matching configurations, and they do not establish a consistent live price.
The iQOO Community launch thread reports a China price of ¥5,699. That is a China launch figure, not a local retail price elsewhere. Currency conversion alone would not account for taxes, import costs, local availability, seller terms or warranty. Check both phones in the same country, from authorized sellers, at the same time and with comparable memory and storage before deciding which costs less.

Which one should you buy?
Choose the iQOO 15 Ultra if
- You want the more explicitly gaming-focused listed hardware, particularly the active cooling fan and pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers.
- You are considering a China-market unit and have verified its local availability, software, warranty and support arrangements.
- You value its listed 7,400 mAh battery, while recognizing that capacity alone does not guarantee longer measured runtime.
Choose the realme GT 8 Pro if
- You prefer the listed QHD+ 3136 × 1440 display specification.
- You want the higher-resolution telephoto specification and will assess camera quality using actual image results rather than megapixel counts alone.
- You value its higher rated wired charging and up-to-50 W wireless charging, subject to compatible equipment and regional details.
Before paying, compare the exact memory and storage configuration, confirmed local price, seller authorization, warranty coverage, software version and support. Those details can change the buying decision more than a spec-sheet advantage, especially when comparing a realme India product listing with iQOO China launch information.
