The realme GT 7 is the better fit if you want a dedicated 2x rear camera and higher stated wired-charging wattage. The OnePlus Nord 6 offers a larger stated battery capacity, a faster-refreshing display and a clearly stated software-update commitment. A comparison-page price snapshot showed the Nord 6 ₹5,000 higher, but it does not establish a current, like-for-like deal. Neither phone is a proven overall performance, battery-life or camera-quality winner on the available evidence.

Specifications and manufacturer claims do not establish how the phones compare in real-world speed, endurance or photo quality. In particular, battery capacity is not the same as tested runtime, and a higher refresh-rate ceiling does not by itself show how every app or game will perform.
How the prices compare
In a 91mobiles listing snapshot, the realme GT 7 appeared at ₹41,999 through Flipkart and the OnePlus Nord 6 at ₹46,999 through Amazon—a ₹5,000 gap. The snapshot does not establish that the listings were for matching RAM and storage variants, and retailer prices, availability and offers can change. Treat these figures as a dated comparison, not a guaranteed current quote.
Before buying, check the exact model variant, seller, stock, warranty terms and any bank or exchange offer on the live listing. A lower displayed price is only a fair comparison when the configurations and purchase conditions match.

Which phone’s display matters more to you?
Choose the realme GT 7 for LTPO and 120Hz
realme specifies an 8T LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Its product page also gives a 6,000-nit peak-brightness figure, which realme describes as a local peak measured in its lab under 100,000 lux. That is a manufacturer test claim, not a brightness level to expect across the whole screen in ordinary use.
Choose the OnePlus Nord 6 for a 165Hz ceiling
OnePlus specifies an AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. That higher stated ceiling may appeal if display refresh rate is a priority, but it does not prove a consistent advantage in every app or game. Published comparison pages disagree on the Nord 6’s resolution, so this comparison leaves that figure out rather than treating conflicting listings as settled.

Battery capacity and charging are different trade-offs
The Nord 6 has the larger stated capacity
OnePlus lists a 9,000mAh battery; realme lists 7,000mAh typical capacity for the GT 7, equivalent to 6,850mAh rated across its dual cells. The figures describe capacity, not how long either phone lasts between charges. Usage, network, settings and software affect runtime, and the available claims do not provide a controlled head-to-head endurance test.

The GT 7 has the higher stated charging wattage
realme specifies 120W wired charging and claims a full charge in 40 minutes, while noting that results vary with environment and calculation method. OnePlus specifies 80W charging. These are manufacturer specifications and claims, not a guarantee of the same charging time in every situation. The stated speeds also do not mean a generic charger will deliver them; check the phone’s charging requirements and compatible equipment.

Camera hardware: the GT 7 adds a 2x camera
The GT 7’s listed rear-camera system includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 2x camera and an 8MP ultrawide. The Nord 6 is listed with a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide. The extra 2x module gives the GT 7 a dedicated camera option at that focal length; megapixel counts and camera count alone cannot establish which phone takes better photographs. No independent, controlled photo comparison is established here.
Performance and gaming: chipset names are not a verdict
The GT 7 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, and the Nord 6 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Those names identify different platforms, but without a reliable comparison under matching software and test conditions they do not determine which phone is faster for your games or daily tasks.

OnePlus says its Nord 6 supports 165 FPS BGMI gaming based on a OnePlus Test Lab result. The stated test used the 12GB model at 25°C ± 1°C, with Pro Gamer mode and Adaptive Frame Booster enabled, specified in-game settings, a display brightness of 280 nits and sound at 75dB. This is a conditional manufacturer laboratory result, not an independent guarantee of frame rate in other configurations or conditions.

Update commitment
OnePlus states “4 Android OS updates” and “6 years of security updates” for the Nord 6. Comparison data reports the same durations for the GT 7, but the official realme page reviewed did not confirm that promise. If update longevity is a deciding factor, the Nord 6 has the clearer commitment in the available official information.
Water and dust ratings
realme lists IP69 protection for the GT 7. OnePlus claims IP66/68/69/69K ratings for the Nord 6. These are protection ratings, not permission to treat either phone as unrestrictedly waterproof; follow each manufacturer’s use and care guidance.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Pick the realme GT 7 if a dedicated 2x rear camera or higher stated wired-charging wattage is more important to you.
- Pick the OnePlus Nord 6 if you prioritize its larger stated battery capacity, 165Hz display specification or the update period explicitly stated by OnePlus.
- Compare live offers carefully if price is the deciding factor: the observed ₹5,000 gap is a snapshot, not a verified current price for matching configurations.
- Do not choose solely by chipset, battery capacity or megapixels if your decision depends on real-world speed, battery life or image quality; the available evidence does not establish a controlled winner in those categories.
