The realme C100x’s defining feature is its 8,000mAh battery, paired with 45W charging and a large 120Hz display. The trade-offs depend on where you buy it: India’s reported launch version has just 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while Malaysia’s reported configuration has 6GB and 256GB. Both are 4G phones, and the India model’s 6.8-inch screen is HD+ rather than high resolution. The battery capacity is compelling on paper, but independent battery-life and camera tests are not established by the available sources.
Which realme C100x version and price is this review about?
The C100x’s configuration and launch price vary by market. A July 16, 2026, Gadgets 360 report lists the India model as 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, with a reported launch price of ₹14,499. A September 2, 2026, SoyaCincau report lists Malaysia’s model as 6GB RAM and 256GB storage at RM999. These are separate regional offerings, not interchangeable specifications or a guaranteed current price.
Check the RAM, storage, local warranty, current price, and stock for the exact market before buying. The India report’s price is a launch figure; the Malaysia report describes local availability through realme stores and authorized dealers. Neither figure establishes what a seller charges today.
Does the 8,000mAh battery make it a battery champion?
It gives the phone an unusually large stated capacity for its entry-level positioning. realme rates charging at 45W and offers reverse charging up to 6W. Those specifications make the C100x attractive to people who value a large battery and the option to top up another device, but capacity alone does not establish how long a charge lasts in everyday use.

realme’s global product page attributes battery, endurance, and health-retention figures to realme Lab and cautions that actual results may vary. The company claims at least 97% battery health after one year and at least 80% after seven years, but the page does not state a publication year for those tests. It also advertises five minutes of charging for four hours of calling; that is a manufacturer lab claim, not a general estimate of charging speed or screen-on time. No independent battery rundown or charging-time test is established here.
Reverse charging is rated up to 6W. It requires USB OTG and a compatible USB-C-to-USB-C cable; output and compatibility can vary with the connected device. realme recommends its official USB-C cables, but the stated requirements do not guarantee that every accessory or phone will work.

What is the display like?
The India model is reported to have a 6.8-inch LCD with a 720 × 1570 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The large panel and smooth refresh rate suit scrolling and video, but HD+ resolution is the compromise: text and fine details will not look as sharp as they do on a higher-resolution screen of similar size. The 120Hz figure describes refresh rate, not image resolution.
Those specifications come from the India launch report. The Malaysia report confirms the broad 120Hz positioning but does not establish every display detail listed for India, so do not assume every regional version has identical specifications.

How much performance and connectivity should you expect?
The India launch report names a Unisoc T7250 chipset and 4G connectivity. The phone is not presented as a 5G model. That makes it a better fit for a buyer who is comfortable using 4G than for someone who specifically wants 5G access.
realme’s product page reports an average of 59.89 frames in a MOBA test, primarily using Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and says performance depends on environment and use. This is a vendor-reported lab result, not an independent gaming test or a promise of that frame rate across games. There are no independent app, gaming, or benchmark results established here, so the chipset and advertised result are not enough to predict how demanding games or multitasking will feel in practice.

What do the cameras and software specifications tell you?
The India version is listed with a 50MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Those are hardware specifications, not evidence of image quality: no independently verified camera samples or testing are established here. If camera performance is a deciding factor, these megapixel counts alone cannot tell you how well it handles low light, moving subjects, or skin tones.

Is the C100x too heavy, and how durable is it?
The India report lists a weight of 219g. That is a substantial weight to account for if you prefer a light phone or often use one-handed. The Malaysia report confirms the broad durability and IP64 positioning, but the India report is the cited source for the 219g figure.
realme states that the phone has IP64 dust and water resistance and passed MIL-STD-810H shock tests. IP64 is not a rating for submersion, and it should not be treated as permission to take the phone underwater. The company’s 2m drop-resistance statement refers to front-face drops onto smooth marble in realme Lab; realme warns that results vary with angle, conditions, and real-world use. Neither claim makes the phone drop-proof or removes the need to protect it from damage.
Who should buy the realme C100x?
The C100x makes the most sense for someone who prioritizes a large stated battery, 45W charging, a big screen, and 120Hz refresh over compact size, high display resolution, or 5G. The regional configuration matters: India’s reported 4GB/64GB version offers much less listed storage than Malaysia’s 6GB/256GB model, so compare the exact phone available to you rather than relying on the name alone.
