The realme 16 5G and OPPO F33 5G share a 6.57-inch-class FHD+ AMOLED display and a 7,000mAh typical battery, but differ in listed front-camera specifications, chipset names, charging ratings, and RAM options. realme lists a 50MP selfie camera and 60W charging; OPPO lists a 16MP selfie camera and up to 80W SUPERVOOC. OPPO has published April 2026 launch prices, but a current like-for-like price difference cannot be confirmed from the available listings.

The manufacturers’ figures do not by themselves show which screen is easier to see in a particular setting. realme and OPPO also note that weight can vary by unit or configuration.
Which phone has the better selfie camera?
On listed specifications, the realme 16 5G offers the higher front-camera resolution and a higher stated front-video frame rate: 50MP and up to 1080p/60fps, compared with OPPO F33 5G’s 16MP and up to 1080p/30fps. Their listed apertures and fields of view are close.

Those numbers do not prove that realme produces better-looking selfies. Sensor behavior, image processing, lighting, and video stabilization can affect results, and the manufacturer specifications do not provide a direct image-quality comparison.
Which charges faster?
OPPO lists the higher maximum proprietary charging rating: up to 80W SUPERVOOC, versus realme’s 60W fast charging. The wattage alone does not establish a full-charge time or guarantee that every USB-C adapter will deliver that peak. Charging depends on compatible adapters and cables, and OPPO separately lists support for certain lower-wattage SUPERVOOC adapters, PPS, and PD.
realme lists PPS at 45W and PD at 13.5W; OPPO lists PPS at 33W and PD at 13.5W. A charger using a supported protocol may charge at a different rate from the manufacturer’s proprietary maximum. No comparative charging-time or battery-endurance test is established by these specifications.

How different are the displays, chipsets, and memory options?
Display
Both phones list the same screen class, resolution, AMOLED panel type, and maximum 120Hz refresh rate. OPPO explicitly describes adaptive 60/90/120Hz operation. Their published typical-brightness figures differ, while both list 1,400 nits HBM; realme additionally publishes a 4,200-nit peak figure. Since peak and HBM are distinct categories, they should not be treated as a direct brightness shootout.
Chipset
The listed processors are the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo in realme 16 5G and Dimensity 6360 MAX in OPPO F33 5G. The official specifications provide no comparative benchmark or real-world performance result, so the names alone are not enough to call one phone faster.
RAM and storage
realme’s listed configurations include a 12GB RAM option, while OPPO offers a 6GB RAM entry configuration. Both list 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage. When comparing prices, match the RAM and storage tier rather than comparing different configurations.

What is the realme 16 5G vs OPPO F33 5G price difference in India?
OPPO India announced these OPPO F33 5G launch prices on 15 April 2026:
Recommended Free Tools
| OPPO F33 5G configuration | Announced launch price |
|---|---|
| 6GB+128GB | ₹31,999 |
| 8GB+128GB | ₹34,999 |
| 8GB+256GB | ₹37,999 |
These are dated launch prices, not verified current selling prices. OPPO’s announcement said availability would begin on 26 April 2026 through offline stores, OPPO E-Store, Flipkart, and Amazon. The official realme India store listing available for this comparison showed the realme 16 5G but no readable price. As a result, a current price difference cannot be calculated reliably.
For a useful current comparison, check both manufacturers’ India listings on the same date and compare matching configurations. Keep the listed price separate from bank discounts, exchange values, and limited-time promotions.
Which phone should you choose?
- Consider realme 16 5G if its listed 50MP front camera, 1080p/60fps front video, 12GB RAM option, or lower stated weight aligns with your priorities.
- Consider OPPO F33 5G if its up-to-80W SUPERVOOC rating or 6GB+128GB entry configuration is more relevant to you.
- Compare matched live listings before making a value decision, because only OPPO’s dated launch prices are established here.
Both manufacturers advertise water- and dust-resistance ratings, but those ratings are not a promise that a phone is damage-proof. OPPO specifically describes controlled testing under ISO 20653:2023 (China); the rating does not remove the need to follow each manufacturer’s care and warranty terms.
