For buyers in India, the realme 15T is the better fit for a sharper FHD+ AMOLED display and a higher-resolution selfie camera. The realme 16T 5G offers a larger screen with a higher refresh-rate ceiling and a higher stated battery capacity, but its screen is HD+ LCD and its front camera is 16MP. The choice depends on which trade-offs matter to you; these recommendations follow listed specifications, not hands-on testing.
realme 15T vs realme 16T 5G: specifications
The realme 16T 5G figures below come from realme India’s official specifications page. The 15T figures come from the 91mobiles comparison listing; an official 15T specification page was not available in the collected source material. Specifications can differ by market, so this comparison is for the India models.

Which display is better for you?
Choose the 15T for resolution and AMOLED
The 15T lists a 1080 × 2372 FHD+ AMOLED panel, compared with the 16T’s 1570 × 720 HD+ LCD. That means the 15T has substantially more listed pixels and AMOLED display technology, making it the more compelling specification choice if fine detail and display contrast are priorities.

The 16T screen is larger at 6.81 inches, versus 6.57 inches on the 15T, and its listed refresh-rate ceiling is 144Hz rather than 120Hz. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion appear smoother, but the spec alone does not establish how a particular app or game will behave. The larger screen and higher refresh-rate ceiling come with lower listed resolution and LCD technology.

How do the cameras compare?
Selfies: higher resolution on the 15T
The 15T lists a 50MP front camera; the 16T lists 16MP. The 15T therefore has the higher front-camera pixel count, but megapixels alone do not establish which phone takes better selfies. No controlled image-quality comparison is available here.
Rear cameras: similar main-camera resolution
Both list a 50MP main rear camera. The secondary camera differs: the 15T lists a 2MP depth camera, while the 16T lists a 2MP monochrome camera. Those specifications do not establish overall photo quality, so do not treat the shared 50MP figure as proof that their results are equivalent.

Battery capacity and charging are different trade-offs
The 16T lists an 8,000mAh typical battery capacity and 7,780mAh rated capacity, with 45W charging. The 15T comparison listing gives a 7,000mAh battery and 60W charging. On stated capacity, the 16T is higher; on charging wattage, the 15T is higher. Neither capacity nor charging power alone establishes actual battery life or charging time, which can vary with use and conditions.

The comparison listing names a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max for the 15T, while realme lists a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for the 16T. These are specification labels, not a controlled performance test. Without comparable benchmark methods or real-world testing, the chipset names alone are not enough to quantify how much faster one phone is for gaming, apps, or everyday use.
