The realme 15 5G and realme 15x 5G both list 7000mAh batteries, but they differ in charging speed and display information, and the available India prices are not a like-for-like comparison. The 15 5G is the clearer choice if 80W charging and confirmed 4K recording matter; the 15x has a listed 144Hz LCD and several memory options. Neither a fair price gap nor a dependable chipset-performance winner is established by the available official information.

Which phone has the better display?
The 15x listing specifies a 6.80-inch LCD with 1570×720 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The cited 15 5G announcement does not provide matching display details, so the available information does not support a complete display ranking. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion appear smoother, but it does not by itself establish overall display quality; resolution, panel characteristics and actual use also matter.
How do the batteries and charging compare?
Both models are listed with 7000mAh batteries. The clearest documented difference is wired charging: realme announced 80W for the 15 5G, while its store listing specifies 60W for the 15x. These wattage figures are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee of a particular charging time. Actual time can depend on conditions and the charging equipment used.

What are the camera and video differences?
Both phones have listed 50MP front and rear cameras. For the 15 5G, realme identifies a Sony IMX882 OIS main camera and OV50D front camera, and says both cameras support 4K recording. The 15x page identifies the 50MP cameras, but does not provide sufficiently clear video-mode information for a fair recording comparison. Megapixel counts alone do not establish image quality or video capability.
Is the realme 15 faster than the realme 15x?
realme names a Dimensity 7300+ 5G chipset made on a 4nm process for the 15 5G. Its announcement also reports an AnTuTu score of 740K in 2025; that is the manufacturer’s benchmark claim, not an independent side-by-side result. The 15x store page contains processor-related text, but adjacent comparison content has mismatched model information. The exact 15x processor identity therefore cannot be used here to declare a performance winner.
realme described the 15 5G as having “the most powerful Dimensity 7300+ 5G chipset in its price range.” That is the company’s promotional characterization in its July 24, 2025 announcement, not an independently verified ranking. No independent comparative performance result is established here.

There is no defensible exact price difference from the available official India figures because they refer to different configurations and offer contexts.
| Model and listing | Displayed price | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| realme 15x 5G, realme India store | ₹27,999 | Marine Blue, 8GB+256GB; listing also showed MRP ₹33,999 and offers that may depend on bank, exchange, student or other conditions |
| realme 15 5G, realme promotional page | From ₹22,999* | Starting-price promotion; the captured listing did not identify a corresponding storage configuration or explain the asterisk terms |
These prices were displayed on October 7, 2026, and can change. The figures do not establish that one phone costs exactly ₹5,000 more: compare the same RAM and storage capacity, seller, and currently applicable offers before deciding. The 15 5G promotional figure is shown on realme’s India promotional page.

Choose the realme 15 5G if
- You prioritize the stated 80W wired charging over the 15x’s listed 60W.
- You want realme’s explicit 4K recording claim for both the front and rear cameras.
- You prefer a chipset specification that is clearly identified in the cited announcement, while recognizing that it does not prove a comparative performance win.
Consider the realme 15x 5G if
- The listed 144Hz LCD and its 6.80-inch size suit your priorities, and you have checked the 15 5G’s display details separately.
- You need one of the listed 15x memory configurations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB or 8GB+256GB.
- Its live price and applicable offer make sense against a realme 15 5G with the same memory and storage configuration.
Before ordering, verify the selected variant, current price and offer conditions on the seller’s page. The official listings establish product information and their displayed prices, but not a matched street-price comparison.
