The REDMI Turbo 5 has the larger stated battery and higher wired charging rating, while the realme 15 Pro is promoted with three 50MP rear cameras. Those specifications alone do not establish which phone lasts longer, takes better photos or offers better value. For buyers in India, compare the exact memory variant and current seller price before choosing: Xiaomi’s official listing gives a current starting price, but a matching current official realme price is not established here.
How the two phones compare on paper
The clearest India-specific specifications come from the manufacturers, but the available realme announcement is a launch release rather than a complete technical sheet. Some realme display and software details below come from a third-party comparison and should be checked against the exact regional model.
| Feature | realme 15 Pro | Xiaomi REDMI Turbo 5 |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.8-inch, 144Hz, according to a third-party comparison; confirm against the regional variant. Source | 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED, up to 120Hz, according to Xiaomi India. Source |

| India price | Current official realme price not established. A third-party comparison snapshot lists ₹35,999, but its configuration and offer basis are uncertain. Which display fits your priorities?
The third-party comparison lists a larger 6.8-inch, 144Hz screen for the realme 15 Pro. Xiaomi’s India product page describes the REDMI Turbo 5 as a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. On the listed figures, realme offers more screen area and a higher maximum refresh rate; the Xiaomi page provides an explicit resolution and panel type. Verify the realme panel details for the exact variant you are considering, since the cited realme launch announcement is not a full spec sheet.
A higher refresh-rate figure is not by itself proof of a better overall display. Resolution, brightness, color behavior and how refresh rate is implemented also matter, and the available specifications do not provide a complete, directly comparable set of those measurements.

What the chipset specifications do—and do not—tell you
The realme 15 Pro is announced with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while Xiaomi lists MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Ultra for the REDMI Turbo 5. They are different chip platforms, but the stated names do not establish which phone is faster in everyday use, gaming, sustained workloads or thermal performance. No independent head-to-head benchmark results are established here, so choose based on verified tests of the exact regional models if performance is your deciding factor.
How to read the camera specifications
realme promotes a triple-50MP rear camera system. Xiaomi specifies a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The realme announcement’s headline resolution count does not identify every camera’s role or establish that the cameras are equivalent.
Megapixel counts do not determine photo quality. Sensor behavior, lens, processing, low-light performance and stabilization all affect results. The available specifications support identifying the stated camera hardware, not declaring a camera winner; sample photos and video from the precise models are needed for that judgment.

Battery capacity and charging
realme announced a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging; Xiaomi lists 7,540mAh and 100W HyperCharge for the REDMI Turbo 5. Those figures give Xiaomi the larger stated capacity and higher wired charging rating, but they are not measurements of screen-on time or charging duration. Actual endurance and charge time depend on use, settings, temperature, charger and other conditions.
Realme’s July 2025 newsroom announcement called the 15 Pro “the slimmest 7,000mAh phone in the industry.” That is realme’s promotional claim; the cited announcement does not establish independent verification of the superlative. Realme’s announcement
Software support: a stated advantage for Xiaomi, with a realme caveat
Xiaomi India states four years of OS updates and six years of security patches for the REDMI Turbo 5. The comparison page reports three years of OS updates and four years of security updates for the realme 15 Pro, but that figure is secondary-source reporting rather than a verified current realme manufacturer policy. If update longevity is important, confirm realme’s commitment for the exact model before purchase.

What the India price figures mean
Xiaomi India’s store listing shows the REDMI Turbo 5 from ₹41,999 against a ₹54,999 marketing price. A third-party comparison snapshot lists ₹35,999 for the realme 15 Pro and ₹41,999 for the REDMI Turbo 5, but related comparison pages show differing figures and configurations. The realme figure is not a verified current official price, and these listings do not establish a like-for-like price difference.

For a fair comparison, check both phones on the same date and match RAM and storage, seller, warranty, bank offers and exchange terms. Prices and configurations can vary by country; the Xiaomi prices cited here are from its India store, and the available comparison is India-centered.
Quick Recap
Which one should you buy?
- Consider the realme 15 Pro if the larger stated display, higher listed refresh rate or triple-50MP camera arrangement fits your priorities. Confirm the regional specifications and current price, and do not treat camera count as a quality verdict.
- Consider the REDMI Turbo 5 if its stated 7,540mAh battery, 100W wired charging, specified 1.5K AMOLED screen or Xiaomi’s stated update period matters most to you.
- Do not decide on price alone using the third-party snapshot: it does not establish matching variants or comparable offers, and a current official realme price is not confirmed here.
- If gaming, photography or battery life is decisive, seek independent testing of the exact models sold in your market; the listed specifications cannot settle those real-world comparisons.
Check before ordering
- Confirm the precise model name, RAM and storage configuration, and whether it is the India or another regional variant.
- Check current price, seller, warranty and any offer conditions at checkout rather than relying on a comparison snapshot.
- Verify network compatibility for your country and carrier.
- Check box contents for the exact listing. Xiaomi says the REDMI Turbo 5 package includes a protective case, a pre-applied screen protector and a 100W power adapter; do not assume package contents are identical in every market.
