Apple HomeView is available for pre-order ahead of its November 13, 2026 launch, and the best accessory bargains are concentrated in lighting, sensors, security and cleaning. The strongest entry point is the Philips Hue Starter Kit with Bridge and two A19 bulbs at $72.99, reduced from $142.99 in the October 14–15, 2026 deal capture. Before buying, confirm HomeKit or Matter support—and whether a separate bridge or hub is required.
What HomeView adds to a smart-home setup
HomeView is Apple’s smart-home hub with a 7-inch Liquid Retina display and Siri control. Apple says the Home app is built into HomeView and synced with your other Apple devices, providing one place to connect and manage compatible smart-home accessories. The UK purchase page lists the Space Grey model at £299; regional pricing and availability can differ.
That makes accessory compatibility more important than a large percentage discount. HomeKit and Matter devices can follow a relatively direct setup path, while Zigbee products generally require their manufacturer’s hub or another supported controller. A sale item that needs an additional hub may cost more—and take longer to configure—than its headline price suggests.

Pick by household problem, not by discount
Starting a lighting system
The Hue starter bundle is the clearest first purchase because it includes the Bridge and two bulbs. Buying a bridge separately can erase the apparent savings of individual-bulb deals. Outdoor Hue fixtures make more sense once that ecosystem is already installed.
Adding inexpensive lights
The four-pack of Govee E12 bulbs lowers the per-bulb entry cost for expansion. Confirm the exact HomeKit or Matter pathway before checkout; a product can be controllable through an app or voice assistant without offering native Apple Home support.

Improving safety
Leak and climate sensors address risks that lighting cannot. The Aqara three-pack suits several plumbing locations, while Eve Water Guard is a single-device option. Aqara’s Zigbee plug and sensors may need an Aqara hub or compatible controller, so include that hardware in the budget.
Securing an entrance
The G410 combines a doorbell camera and hub, potentially simplifying an entry-point installation. Check wiring, mounting and local video-storage requirements; the listed price alone does not establish installation or subscription costs.

Automating cleaning
The E28 has the largest absolute reduction in the list—$340 from its published former price—but it is also a substantially larger purchase than a bulb or sensor. Verify floor compatibility, docking space and the HomeView control features available in your region before committing.
Compatibility and total-cost checklist
- Look for explicit Apple Home, HomeKit or Matter support in the current product listing.
- Identify the communication protocol. Zigbee accessories normally need a supported hub; a bridge may also be required for lighting systems.
- Check whether HomeView can provide the desired control directly or whether the manufacturer’s app remains necessary.
- Add required hubs, mounting hardware, wiring, installation and any optional cloud or video-service fees to the sale price.

Choose the Hue starter kit if you are building lighting from scratch. Choose the Govee four-pack for a low-cost bulb expansion only after confirming Apple Home support. Choose Aqara or Eve monitoring products when leak or environmental alerts solve a specific household risk, and consider the G410 when a doorbell upgrade and hub are both on your plan. Treat the E28 as a major appliance purchase rather than an impulse deal.
