In the Eavesdropping mission at Gressan Breakbulk Dockyard on Courtsilius, turn back from the alley blocked by three guards, pass the steam vents, and climb the metal stairs behind your starting point. Slice the locked door at the top to reach the alternate path. The power-generator scan is optional.
Where the alternate docks path is
You’ll encounter the route during Eavesdropping, a critical story mission set at Gressan Breakbulk Dockyard on Courtsilius. The assignment is to eavesdrop on an Infinite Coil meeting with local syndicates. The game’s mission objectives appear at the top left and are marked on the map, as described in the official StarWars.com gameplay guide.

- At the alley, stop at the three guards. This direct passage is blocked; the walkthroughs do not describe a way through it.
- Turn around and pass the steam vents. Look behind the position where you began the mission.
- Climb the metal staircase. Follow the elevated walkway to the locked door.
- Use the console to slice the door. Go through once it opens. The objective changes to “Make Your Way to the Docks.”
This route sequence is reported consistently by the NerdsChalk walkthrough and the XboxPlay.games walkthrough; the exact stairs-and-door directions are not confirmed in the official gameplay guide.
Is the power-generator scan required?
No. The marked power generator can be scanned with macrobinoculars for an Intel reward, but the walkthroughs identify the scan as optional. You can go straight to the stairs and locked door if your goal is to advance to the docks.
#1 Best Overall
- Standard Edition for PlayStation 5 (disc) includes the full Star Wars Zero Company game. Single-player turn-based tactics set in the twilight of the Clone Wars—lead Hawks and Zero Company in an intense campaign.
- Build your squad from clone troopers, scoundrels, astromechs and even a Jedi—combine abilities and gear in deep Tactical-Strategy combat.
- Plan at your base, adapt on dynamic battlefields and make decisions that shape missions and replayability in this cinematic Star Wars story.
- Customise Hawks and your operatives, tailor loadouts and unlock powerful squad synergies designed for Strategy, Turn-Based and Sci-Fi fans.
What happens after you open the door?
The walkthroughs say the door leads into the eavesdropping scene, followed by a Slugrat ambush. They also report that Hawks must survive for the mission to continue. Those encounter details and the survival requirement come from independent walkthroughs, rather than an official step-by-step source. Once inside, use the game’s objective markers to orient yourself; operators spend Action Points to move, attack, use abilities, and take cover.
