Razer’s Basilisk V4 Pro is the gaming mouse behind the up-to-200-hour claim. That figure is Razer’s stated maximum for HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 at 1,000 Hz; the company separately claims up to 275 hours over Bluetooth 6.2. Neither number is an independently verified runtime test.
Which Razer mouse has up to 200 hours of battery life?
It is the Razer Basilisk V4 Pro, announced on October 8, 2026. Razer describes it as the latest evolution of its ergonomic gaming mouse. The company’s announcement ties the 200-hour maximum specifically to HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 at a 1,000 Hz polling rate.
That qualification matters: 200 hours is not a general promise for every wireless mode or setting. Razer’s announcement does not provide an independent test or a detailed methodology for the battery-life figures, so actual runtime for an individual user is not established.
How do the battery claims differ by connection mode?

The 200-hour and 275-hour claims should not be treated as like-for-like results: the first is expressly tied to 1,000 Hz HyperSpeed Wireless, while the second is for Bluetooth 6.2. Razer also says Bluetooth can pair with up to three devices.

What else does the Basilisk V4 Pro offer?
The Basilisk V4 Pro is a feature-rich ergonomic model. Razer lists 14 customizable controls and a HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 with Dual Tactile modes, Free-Spin, and Smart-Reel switching. Its Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3 and fourth-generation optical mouse switches are part of the specification; Razer rates the switches for 100 million clicks.
For lighting, Razer lists seven-zone Chroma RGB with underglow. The mouse supports HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2, Bluetooth 6.2, and wired connectivity. These specifications describe the product as listed by Razer, rather than independent performance findings.

How does it compare with the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed?
Razer also announced the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed as a more streamlined model. Its listed weight is 94 g, it has 12 customizable controls, and Razer claims up to 140 hours of battery life. The announcement does not specify the connection mode and polling rate associated with that maximum, so it should not be directly compared with the V4 Pro’s mode-qualified figures.

The optional Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro is announced with magnetic wireless charging and an integrated 8,000 Hz transceiver. Razer lists the Basilisk V4 Pro as compatible. The dock is an accessory, not part of the mouse’s battery-life claim.
