The Razer Basilisk V4 Pro connects over HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2, Bluetooth 6.2, or wired USB. Razer says it supports up to five devices across those connection options, with up to three Bluetooth devices paired. Wireless charging requires a separately purchased compatible charging solution and the mouse’s replacement charging puck. Button assignments, DPI, scroll behavior, macros, Hypershift functions, and lighting are configured in Razer Synapse.
What devices and connection types does the Basilisk V4 Pro support?
Razer lists three connection modes: HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2, Bluetooth 6.2, and wired USB. The company says the mouse supports up to five devices across its connections, including up to three paired Bluetooth devices. The five-device figure does not mean five hosts are active at once; the mouse switches between supported connections. Consult the current manual for the exact pairing and switching controls. Razer says wireless charging requires an additional purchase: either the Mouse Dock V2 Pro, which includes a charging puck, or the HyperFlux V2 wireless charging system. Replace the mouse’s cover puck with the charging puck and place the mouse on the compatible charging setup. Accessories are sold separately, and package contents can vary by regional listing, so check the product details before buying. Is the Mouse Dock V2 Pro compatible?
Yes. Razer’s Mouse Dock V2 Pro compatibility list explicitly names the Basilisk V4 Pro. Do not assume that every Razer wireless mouse is supported; check the current list for other models. Razer says some compatible HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-1 mice also work with the dock, but at Gen-1 latency levels.
How long does the battery last?
Razer publishes maximum battery-life claims of up to 200 hours on HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 and up to 275 hours over Bluetooth 6.2. The company qualifies runtime as dependent on usage and settings; these figures are not guaranteed everyday results. The cited manufacturer materials do not establish independent testing or a standardized test protocol. Razer’s October 8, 2026 blog gives the figures.

How do you customize buttons, scroll behavior, and lighting?
Use Razer Synapse: install or open the software, select the Basilisk V4 Pro, then change the relevant control or setting. Razer identifies button assignments, macros, scroll modes, Hypershift functions, DPI settings, and Chroma RGB lighting effects as customizable. The exact menu labels may vary with the Synapse version, so follow the controls shown in your installed version rather than relying on a fixed menu path. Razer’s October 8, 2026 launch announcement describes 14 customizable controls and a four-way HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2, whose modes can be remapped in Synapse. The product FAQ says the three side buttons default to AI Prompt Master, Mouse Button 5, and Mouse Button 4, and can be reassigned. It also says the multi-function trigger is not removable. These are manufacturer descriptions, not independent test findings.
