Choose the RayNeo Air 4 Pro if you mainly want a private screen for films, games, or laptop work, value HDR10, and prefer the lower manufacturer-listed US price. Choose the XREAL One if the display staying anchored in a position in space is essential: XREAL One has native 3DoF built into the glasses, while RayNeo says Air 4 Pro uses a fixed display without 3DoF anchoring.
Both are wired displays rather than standalone headsets. Your phone, computer, handheld, or console must provide compatible video output, and the published brightness, weight, and price figures below come from the manufacturers—not an independent head-to-head test.
The short answer
The choice turns on one behavior: whether the virtual screen should remain fixed in your surroundings when you move your head.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Buy RayNeo Air 4 Pro for HDR10 video, a 46-degree field of view, and a lower US storefront price snapshot ($239.20 sale versus $299 regular when checked October 13, 2026). Its screen is fixed in your view and does not support 3DoF anchoring, according to RayNeo’s product information.
- Buy XREAL One for native 3DoF. The glasses can keep the screen positioned in space rather than making it move with your head. XREAL listed the One at $399, with $499 shown as a reference price on the same date.
Neither conclusion is a comfort or image-quality test. The evidence available for this comparison is manufacturer-published information, so treat the specifications as claims to verify for your exact setup.

What is actually different between them?
RayNeo Air 4 Pro: a fixed personal display
RayNeo describes Air 4 Pro as glasses with a 0.6-inch SeeYa Micro-OLED panel, Full HD resolution, HDR10 support, up to 120 Hz refresh rate, and a stated brightness of up to 1,200 nits. The image is fixed relative to your view: when you turn your head, the screen turns with you. RayNeo explicitly says the model does not support 3DoF screen anchoring. The listed field of view is 46 degrees and the stated weight is 76 grams. See the official RayNeo Air 4 Pro specifications.
XREAL One: a display with native 3DoF
XREAL One uses a Sony 0.68-inch Micro-OLED panel. XREAL lists 1080p resolution, up to 120 Hz, 600 nits of perceived brightness, a 50-degree field of view, and an 82-gram weight. Its defining feature is native 3DoF powered by the glasses. In practical terms, the screen can stay placed in space while you look around instead of remaining locked to every head movement. The complete specifications are on the official XREAL One product page.
Side-by-side specifications
The figures in this table are manufacturer-stated values. They do not establish which product looks brighter, feels more comfortable, or has lower latency in use.

| Specification | RayNeo Air 4 Pro | XREAL One |
|---|---|---|
| Display panel | 0.6-inch SeeYa Micro-OLED | 0.68-inch Sony Micro-OLED |
| Resolution | Full HD | 1080p |
| Maximum refresh rate | Up to 120 Hz | Up to 120 Hz |
| HDR | HDR10 listed | Not listed in the cited product specifications |
| Brightness claim | Up to 1,200 nits | 600 nits perceived brightness |
| Field of view | 46 degrees | 50 degrees |
| Published weight | 76 g | 82 g |
| Screen positioning | Fixed display; no 3DoF anchoring | Native 3DoF powered by the glasses |
| Connection described by manufacturer | USB-C with DisplayPort video; HDMI supported through an adapter | USB-C; XREAL lists Hub and Beam Pro compatibility |
The brightness entries are not equivalent measurements. Air 4 Pro’s number is a stated nit figure, while XREAL labels its number “perceived brightness.” A larger number in this table is therefore not proof of a brighter image. Likewise, the 6-gram weight difference is too small to predict comfort without considering nose pads, face shape, cable position, and session length.
Why 3DoF matters for movies, games, and work
What 3DoF does
Three degrees of freedom means the glasses track rotational head movement—looking left and right, up and down, and tilting your head—and use that information to keep a virtual screen in a chosen position. If you look away and then back, the screen can remain where you left it. XREAL says this processing is native to One, so it is a built-in function rather than an extra tracking box.

What a fixed display feels like
With Air 4 Pro’s fixed display, the image follows your line of sight. That can be straightforward for a film or a handheld game: the picture is always in front of you. It is not the same as placing a large monitor on a virtual wall. If you expect to glance toward a keyboard, room, or game control and then return to a stationary screen, the lack of anchoring is the key limitation.
Which behavior suits each activity?
- Watching a film: Either can provide a private large-format view. Pick Air 4 Pro if HDR10 and price matter more than a stationary virtual screen; pick One if you want the screen to remain positioned while you move your head.
- Playing a console or handheld game: Both are wired displays, so the source device and its video output determine whether the setup works. One’s 3DoF can be useful if you want the image anchored while looking around, but no independent latency or gaming test is established here.
- Using a laptop: Air 4 Pro behaves like a display that follows your view. One can anchor the screen in space, which may make looking between the virtual display and a physical keyboard more natural. The benefit depends on your software and connection, not just the glasses.
Display quality: what the published numbers do—and do not—say
Resolution and refresh rate
Both manufacturers list 1080p-class resolution and refresh rates up to 120 Hz. Those specifications indicate the maximum modes claimed by each company, not that every phone, computer, game, or video will output 120 Hz. The host device, operating system, cable, adapter, and application can impose a lower mode.
HDR10 on Air 4 Pro
RayNeo lists HDR10 for Air 4 Pro. That is a meaningful specification if your source and content also support HDR10. It does not guarantee that every video app or console will deliver HDR, and the cited information does not provide an independent measurement of contrast, color accuracy, or HDR performance.
Brightness figures require caution
Air 4 Pro’s “up to 1,200 nits” and One’s “600 nits perceived brightness” use different descriptions. They should be read as separate manufacturer claims, not as a controlled brightness comparison. No independent image-quality test, sunlight legibility test, or calibrated measurement is established for these two models here.
Compatibility and connection requirements
Neither product is a self-contained headset that replaces the source device. Plan the glasses as an external display connected by cable.

RayNeo Air 4 Pro connection path
RayNeo says Air 4 Pro connects over USB-C and requires DisplayPort video output from the connected device. The glasses draw power from that device and do not require a separate battery charge, according to RayNeo’s product information. A source with HDMI output needs RayNeo’s HDMI adapter. USB-C alone is not enough: the port must support video output, usually through DisplayPort Alt Mode or a device-specific equivalent.

XREAL One connection path
XREAL lists USB-C connectivity and compatibility with its Hub and Beam Pro accessories. Verify the exact phone, laptop, handheld, or other source model before ordering; a USB-C charging port that lacks video output will not drive the display. The broad compatibility language on a product page cannot confirm every regional model, operating-system version, cable, or accessory combination.
Pre-purchase compatibility checklist
- Identify the exact source device, not just its product family or connector shape.
- Confirm that its USB-C port supports video output. If it has only HDMI, determine which adapter is required.
- Check whether the source can provide the resolution and refresh rate you intend to use; “up to 120 Hz” on the glasses does not force a 120 Hz signal.
- Confirm that the required cable is included or budget for a suitable video cable. A charge-only USB-C cable cannot carry the picture.
- For consoles and handhelds, check how the device handles power while an external display is attached. A hub may be needed to charge and output video simultaneously.
- Test the source’s display-output settings before buying prescription inserts or other model-specific accessories.
Prices and value
Prices are a dated US storefront snapshot, not a permanent MSRP comparison. On October 13, 2026, RayNeo’s US product page displayed Air 4 Pro at $299 regular and $239.20 on sale. XREAL’s US page displayed One at $399, with $499 shown as a prior or reference price. Recheck both pages at purchase because promotions, regional taxes, shipping, and stock can change the amount you pay.
| Model | US storefront display checked October 13, 2026 | What the price favors |
|---|---|---|
| RayNeo Air 4 Pro | $299 regular; $239.20 sale | Lower listed entry price, especially during the displayed promotion |
| XREAL One | $399 displayed; $499 reference price | Paying more for native 3DoF if that feature is decisive |
The price gap should not be treated as a universal value score. Air 4 Pro’s HDR10 and lower listed price may be the better fit for a media-first buyer. One’s additional cost buys the model whose headline difference is spatial anchoring. Accessories, adapters, prescription inserts, tax, and shipping can change the total.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Weight and comfort: do not infer too much from grams
RayNeo lists 76 g and XREAL lists 82 g. That six-gram difference is real on the specification sheets but cannot prove which glasses are more comfortable. Lens position, nose-pad pressure, temple fit, your face shape, cable routing, and whether you wear them for a 20-minute clip or a three-hour film matter at least as much as the headline weight. There is no controlled comfort test established for this comparison, so try to buy from a seller with a suitable return policy when possible and verify the terms before ordering.

Prescription-lens support
Air 4 Pro
RayNeo directs Air 4 Pro buyers toward a prescription-lens partner or prescription inserts. Confirm the current partner, supported prescription range, frame compatibility, and delivery location on the product page before purchase.
XREAL One
XREAL says One-series glasses use model-specific One/1S prescription inserts and that earlier Air and Air 2 inserts do not fit One-series frames. XREAL names HONSVR as a professional lens service. Do not reuse an older insert based only on a similar frame shape; verify the exact One model and your prescription details.
Accessories you may need
- HDMI adapter for Air 4 Pro: needed when the source provides HDMI instead of USB-C DisplayPort output, according to RayNeo.
- USB-C hub or charging accessory: useful when a handheld or phone must output video while also receiving power. XREAL lists its Hub among One-compatible accessories.
- Beam Pro: XREAL lists Beam Pro compatibility for One. Confirm the software and connection role you need; compatibility does not mean every feature works identically with every source.
- Prescription inserts: order the insert made for the exact glasses model. One-series inserts are not interchangeable with Air or Air 2 inserts.
Buy the accessory only after confirming your source’s ports and the role it must perform. An adapter cannot add video output to a USB-C port that is charge-only.
Which buyer should choose which glasses?
Choose RayNeo Air 4 Pro when these priorities match
- You mainly watch video or play games and a screen that follows your view is acceptable.
- HDR10 support matters for your compatible content and source.
- The October 2026 US price snapshot—or a similar current promotion—fits your budget better.
- Your source offers USB-C DisplayPort video, or you are prepared to use the required HDMI adapter.
- You want the lighter of the two published weights, while understanding that weight alone does not establish comfort.
Choose XREAL One when these priorities match
- Native 3DoF is the reason you are buying spatial glasses rather than a conventional wearable monitor.
- You want a screen that can remain positioned in space while you turn your head.
- You accept the higher displayed US price in exchange for that anchoring feature.
- Your device can output video over USB-C, and any required Hub or Beam Pro setup fits your use.
- You need One/1S prescription inserts and have confirmed that older Air or Air 2 inserts will not fit.
When neither is an obvious fit
Pause before buying if your source has no video-capable USB-C or HDMI path, if you require a standalone battery-powered headset, or if you need a measured comfort, brightness, or latency result. These products are wired displays, and the available specifications do not answer those testing questions.
Important limits of this comparison
The cited manufacturer pages provide specifications, feature descriptions, compatibility information, and storefront prices. They do not provide a controlled Air 4 Pro-versus-One test of image quality, comfort, latency, battery behavior, outdoor visibility, or long-session ergonomics. Marketing descriptions such as cinematic viewing or comfort should therefore be read as manufacturer positioning, not as independent findings. The practical recommendation is based on the documented 3DoF difference, HDR10 listing, connection requirements, published specifications, and dated prices.
Verdict
For most buyers seeking a private display for films and games, RayNeo Air 4 Pro is the sensible value choice when HDR10, a lower listed price, and fixed-screen behavior meet your needs. XREAL One is the specialist choice for spatial anchoring: its native 3DoF is the feature that justifies paying more and accepting a slightly higher listed weight. Before either purchase, verify video output on your exact source and order only the prescription insert made for that model.
