The Raco Commercial 26cm Open French Skillet, model 143770, is a discontinued non-stick stainless-steel pan. CHOICE’s public listing provides its specifications but hides the test scores and verdict, so it is possible to identify what the pan is—but not to establish how well it performed.
What is the Raco Commercial 143770?
CHOICE identifies model 143770 as a 26 cm open French skillet with a non-stick cooking surface and curved sides. Its public product page marks it as discontinued. The listing does not identify the non-stick coating material, so the coating’s chemistry should not be assumed. See CHOICE’s exact-model listing.

These are listed product details, not measurements of cooking results. The 26 cm size is the nominal skillet size; CHOICE separately records an 18.5 cm measured base diameter.
Is the Raco 143770 induction-compatible?
CHOICE’s accessible listing does not provide a usable answer for induction compatibility or magnet capability at the base or edge. Treat induction use as unconfirmed unless you can verify it from the exact pan’s packaging or another reliable model-specific source. The page also marks metal-utensil use as “Not checked.”

What does the review say about cooking performance?
The public CHOICE page shows headings for Expert Rating, performance, durability and ease of use, but the results and the pros and cons are behind member-only access. The public information therefore does not establish a test score, recommendation, or finding about how the pan cooks or holds up. The visible specifications alone cannot answer those questions.
Is it still available, and what did it cost?
CHOICE labels the exact model discontinued. Its frypan comparison result displays $54, but that is a listed comparison-page value, not confirmation of a current selling price, current stock, or market value. CHOICE’s frypan comparison listing also marks the model discontinued. If you find a marketplace listing, check that it explicitly identifies model 143770 rather than a different RACO pan.

Is the current RACO Reliance twin pack the same pan?
No. RACO lists a separate Reliance Stainless Steel Induction Frypan Twin Pack with 20 cm and 26 cm pans. Its manufacturer-listed specifications include stainless-steel construction, a non-stick interior, electric, gas and induction compatibility, dishwasher safety, an oven limit of 200°C and a lifetime warranty. Those details apply to the Reliance set, not to Commercial model 143770. View the RACO Reliance twin pack.

What should a shopper verify before buying a used or remaining-stock pan?
- Confirm the model number is 143770; a 26 cm RACO pan may be a different product.
- Check the cooking surface in person for damage and ask about its history, since the public listing does not establish the coating material or condition of an individual pan.
- Verify induction compatibility for that exact pan rather than inferring it from the stainless-steel body.
- Inspect the base and handle, and confirm the seller’s price and return terms; the CHOICE comparison value does not establish current market value.
