Indian companies are scheduled to announce results on Monday, October 19, 2026, for the quarter ended September 30. Bajaj Finance, UltraTech Cement and the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) are the key names, alongside companies from banking, metals, power, technology, telecom and real estate. The often-used “20 other stocks” description is not independently confirmed by the currently available calendars, which cover different sets of issuers.
Which stocks are scheduled to report on October 19?
Cofacto’s earnings-preview list identifies 11 companies for Q2 FY2026-27 results on Monday, October 19: Bajaj Finance, Gallantt Ispat, HFCL, Hindustan Zinc, IREDA, Jaiprakash Power Ventures, L&T Technology Services, Piramal Finance, Sobha, UltraTech Cement and Union Bank of India.
CMDA Hub’s broader corporate-actions calendar records 34 result actions for the same date. Its visible list includes the companies above except Piramal Finance and HFCL in the portion cited, and also includes Waaree Renewable Technologies and other smaller issuers. The two calendars have different scopes, so neither establishes an exact total of “20 other stocks.”
Neither calendar supplies a universal announcement time. Investors should check each company’s exchange filing or investor-relations notice on October 19 for the precise release and conference-call schedule.

What Q2 FY2026-27 covers
These announcements relate to the July–September 2026 quarter and the six-month period ended September 30, 2026. In Indian financial-year notation, that is Q2 and the first half of FY2026-27. A result release may therefore include both three-month figures and half-year comparisons, together with management commentary on the remainder of the year.
Three anchor companies to watch
Bajaj Finance
For this diversified lender, the useful starting points are the pace of assets under management (AUM), loan growth by business line and funding costs. Investors typically examine net interest margin, fee income, credit costs, provisions and asset-quality indicators such as gross and net non-performing assets. The release should also be read for commentary on delinquency trends, capital adequacy and whether growth is being supported without an excessive increase in risk.

UltraTech Cement
The cement maker’s quarter should be assessed through dispatch volumes, regional demand and realisations rather than profit alone. Key operating questions include the movement in fuel, power, freight and other input costs; the effect of capacity utilisation; and the resulting EBITDA margin. Management’s outlook on construction and infrastructure demand, new capacity ramp-up and pricing discipline can be more informative than a single quarter’s headline earnings.

IREDA
IREDA is a specialist lender focused on renewable-energy financing. Readers should look for loan-book growth, sanctions and disbursements, net interest margin, borrowing costs and asset quality. Provision coverage, overdue loans and the mix of solar, wind, transmission or other projects help indicate whether expansion is translating into sustainable returns. Commentary on the renewable project pipeline and funding conditions can explain changes in growth from one quarter to the next.
Other companies on the October 19 calendars
| Sector | Companies identified | What makes the group relevant |
|---|---|---|
| Financials | Union Bank of India; Piramal Finance | Banking and non-bank lending trends, credit costs and asset quality. |
| Cement, metals and power | Hindustan Zinc; Gallantt Ispat; Jaiprakash Power Ventures | Commodity prices, production or generation volumes, realisations and operating costs. |
| Technology and telecom | L&T Technology Services; HFCL | Revenue growth, margins, order intake, deal wins and execution in communications-related businesses. |
| Real estate | Sobha | Bookings, collections, launches, project execution and cash flow. |
| Renewable technology | Waaree Renewable Technologies | Included in CMDA Hub’s visible broader list; project additions, execution and cash generation are the relevant checks. |
The calendars do not provide a complete, comparable set of consensus estimates for revenue, profit, margins or share-price reactions. Any forecast comparison should therefore be sourced separately from a dated analyst estimate or the company’s own guidance rather than inferred from the schedule.
How to evaluate the releases across sectors
| Company type | Measures to prioritise | Questions to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Lenders | AUM or loan growth, net interest margin, provisions, gross and net NPAs, capital | Is growth accelerating, and is asset quality deteriorating or improving? |
| Cement and metals | Volumes, realisations, prices, fuel and freight costs, EBITDA margin | Did pricing and volume offset input-cost pressure? |
| Power and renewable businesses | Generation or project execution, receivables, debt, borrowing cost and cash flow | Are reported earnings supported by collections and operating cash? |
| Technology and telecom | Revenue growth, operating margin, order book or bookings, utilisation and deal wins | Is the pipeline converting into current-quarter revenue? |
| Real estate | Bookings, collections, launches, inventory and project cash flow | Are sales translating into collections and construction progress? |
Why the “20 other stocks” number is uncertain
The headline count depends on what is being counted. Cofacto presents a curated preview of 11 companies, while CMDA Hub records 34 corporate-action entries and displays a wider mix of issuers. Corporate-action calendars can also include multiple actions or smaller companies not shown in a short preview. Unless the original article or an exchange-level list is available, “20 other stocks” should be treated as a framing label, not a verified count.

A practical checklist for October 19
- Confirm the company’s exchange filing and the exact announcement time; the calendar date alone does not guarantee when results will appear.
- Read the consolidated and standalone statements where both are provided, noting which basis is being used for each comparison.
- Separate the July–September quarter from the six-month year-to-date numbers.
- Use sector-specific operating measures before judging the profit figure.
- Check management commentary for guidance, exceptional items, accounting changes, debt and cash-flow risks.
- Compare the release with the company’s prior guidance and with independently sourced consensus estimates, if available.
