The Pyrolux Pyrostone 20 cm saucepan (model 11807) is a 3 L nonstick pan that the manufacturer says works on induction and other common cooktops and is oven-safe to 180°C. Those are product specifications, not independent performance findings: the available Consumer NZ record identifies the model but does not expose a test score or result.

A 3 L capacity is the key practical distinction from the smaller Pyrostone options. Whether that is enough depends on the portions and recipes you usually make; diameter alone does not establish how much food can be cooked comfortably at once.

Pyrolux describes the pan as forged aluminium with a stone-line finish and a three-layer nonstick surface. It comes with a tempered-glass lid featuring a steam vent and soft-touch ergonomic handles. The maker also describes the coating as PFOA-free. These are manufacturer descriptions; the available sources do not independently verify the coating composition, food release, heat distribution, durability or handle comfort in use.

Does the saucepan work on induction, and can it go in the oven?
Pyrolux lists compatibility with gas, electric, halogen, ceramic and induction cooktops. Its stated oven limit is 180°C. These specifications make the pan a candidate for induction kitchens and recipes that require a moderate-temperature oven finish, but they do not establish performance on any particular cooktop. What care does Pyrolux recommend?

- Use wooden, nylon or silicone utensils; do not cut food inside the pan.
- Use low-to-medium heat for most cooking. The maker reserves high heat for short searing or browning.
- Keep the heat source from extending beyond the base, and do not boil the pan dry.
- Let hot cookware cool before immersing it in water.

Is there an independent test result for model 11807?
Consumer NZ’s record establishes that the exact 20 cm / 3 L model appears in its saucepan coverage, but the accessible page does not show a rating or test findings. It therefore cannot support a conclusion that the pan passed, failed or earned a particular score. The available material is product information and a retail listing, not an independent assessment of cooking performance or long-term coating life.

Where can you buy it, and is the saucepan set an alternative?
On 7 October 2026, Kmart Australia displayed the 20 cm / 3 L pan for A$78.50 as an online-only marketplace listing sold and shipped by Chalet Essentials. That is a dated price snapshot, not a guaranteed current price or availability; confirm the listing, seller and model details before ordering. Check the Kmart Australia listing.
