What you get for $169.99
This is the Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2, an over-ear Bluetooth 5.2 headphone built around adjustable sensory bass. Its standout feature is a bass control that lets you increase or reduce the physical bass sensation rather than relying only on a conventional equalizer. Skullcandy also includes adjustable active noise cancellation, a transparency mode called Stay-Aware, app-based personalization and multipoint pairing for two connected devices.

Why the Crusher ANC 2 is different
Adjustable sensory bass
The Crusher system is aimed at listeners who want bass they can feel as well as hear. You can tune the effect to your preference, making it possible to back it off for podcasts or acoustic music and raise it for bass-heavy tracks. The available specifications do not establish how the headphones sound against competing models, so the bass feature is a design distinction rather than a claim of measured audio superiority.

Noise control and voice features
Four microphones support adjustable active noise cancellation. When you need to hear announcements or a conversation, Stay-Aware mode feeds surrounding sound back in without removing the headphones. A Clear Voice Smart Mic is included for calls. The manufacturer does not publish independent noise-reduction test results in the supplied material.

App controls and multipoint
The Skullcandy app provides preset and custom EQ, bass adjustment and custom button functions. Other listed features include Spotify Tap, Tile finding technology and a flat-folding design.
Battery life and charging
Skullcandy rates the Crusher ANC 2 for up to 60 hours with active noise cancellation disabled or up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. Those are manufacturer figures, so actual runtime will vary with volume, connection behavior, calls and other settings. A 10-minute USB-C charge is rated to provide up to four hours of playback, which can cover a commute or several work sessions when the battery is nearly empty.

Who should consider this deal?
Good fit
- Listeners who specifically want adjustable, high-impact bass.
- Frequent travelers or office users who value ANC, transparency controls and long rated battery life.
- People who switch between a phone and computer and can use multipoint pairing.
- Buyers who want app EQ and programmable controls rather than fixed tuning.
Think twice if
- You prefer a lighter headset; the listed 332 g weight is substantial for an over-ear model.

- You require independently verified ANC, microphone or durability measurements; none are established by the available specifications.
How to check the promotion before buying
- Open the Amazon listing for the exact Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 model, not a similarly named Crusher variant.
- Confirm that the displayed price is $169.99 and that the page still shows the $70 reduction from $239.99.
- Check the selected color, delivery date, seller and return terms, since retailer inventory and offers can change.
- Review the included accessories and select the configuration you intend to purchase before checkout.
Verdict
At the reported $169.99 price, the Crusher ANC 2 is most compelling for buyers who will use its adjustable sensory bass, ANC and app controls. Its 50-hour ANC-on rating, 60-hour ANC-off rating and four-hour quick-charge claim add practical value, while multipoint pairing broadens its usefulness for work and travel. The deal is worth considering, but treat $169.99 as a time-sensitive Amazon promotion rather than a guaranteed permanent price.
