Crunchyroll is the most directly anime-focused option on PS5, and its app is officially supported on the console. However, there is no responsible worldwide answer to which service has both One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen: streaming rights, episode coverage, subtitles, dubs and plans differ by country and change over time. The official One Piece site names Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, Pluto TV and Funimation as viewing options. The official Jujutsu Kaisen listing available for this comparison is specifically for Japan and names Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video among its services. Which PS5 app should anime fans start with?
Start with Crunchyroll if your priority is anime rather than a general entertainment catalog. That recommendation is about focus and PS5 access, not a promise that Crunchyroll has every episode of either requested series in every territory. A service can list a title while carrying only selected seasons, a current simulcast, a film, or a particular subtitle and dub set. Your country’s catalog and the plan attached to the title determine what you can actually watch.

The table separates a title being named by an official franchise or service page from proof that the full catalog is playable on a particular PS5. Treat the latter as a separate check.

Which PS5 apps have One Piece?
The official English-language ONE PIECE.com links page lists Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, Pluto TV and Funimation under anime viewing options. This is the strongest direct evidence in the supplied sources for One Piece, but it is not a global episode guide. It does not say that every service carries every arc, that all episodes are present, or that the same services operate in every territory.
How to verify One Piece coverage
- Open the app store or streaming app available on your PS5 in your country.
- Search for “One Piece,” then open the title’s detail page rather than relying on a general search result.
- Check the season selector. Look for the first and latest episode numbers you expect, and confirm that specials or films are labeled separately.
- Open the audio and subtitle menu on an episode preview or playback screen. Japanese audio, English subtitles and dubbed tracks can have different coverage.
- Read the plan or entitlement message. A title may require a paid tier, an add-on or a separate subscription even when the app itself is free to install.
If a service shows only a partial run, record the missing arc or season before choosing it. “Has One Piece” is otherwise too broad to guide a subscription decision.

Can you watch Jujutsu Kaisen on PS5?
Yes, a PS5 can run a service that carries Jujutsu Kaisen, but the available evidence is territory-specific. The official series site’s on-demand page retrieved for this comparison is a Japan-only listing. It names Netflix, Hulu and Prime Video, along with additional Japan-specific services, for the series’ seasons and film.

Do not turn that Japanese page into a worldwide availability claim. Rights can differ between the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan and other markets. Even where an app is present on PS5, its Jujutsu Kaisen listing may include a different number of seasons, a film instead of the series, or different language options.

How to check Jujutsu Kaisen in your market
- Search “Jujutsu Kaisen” in each PS5 app you already subscribe to, beginning with Crunchyroll, Netflix and Hulu where those apps are available.
- Distinguish the television series from the film. A search result for one does not prove access to the other.
- Expand the season list and note whether season 1, later seasons and any announced or released film are individually selectable.
- Check the listed language tracks and subtitle languages before starting a trial.
- Confirm whether the title is included in your existing plan or marked as an add-on, rental or separate purchase.
Is Crunchyroll on PS5?
Crunchyroll is on PS5. PlayStation lists it on its US entertainment page, and Crunchyroll’s help center provides two installation routes.
Install from the PlayStation Store
- From the PS5 home screen, open the PlayStation Store.
- Go to the store’s Media section.
- Search for Crunchyroll.
- Select the app and choose the download or install command shown for your account.
Install from Media Home
- Open Media Home on the PS5.
- Choose All Apps.
- Find Crunchyroll and select the download option.
After installation, open the app and follow its on-screen account instructions. If the app does not appear, check that your PS5 account region and the console’s network connection are set correctly; app availability is market-dependent.

Which service has both One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen?
The supplied official pages do not establish one global service with complete catalogs for both shows. Crunchyroll is the logical first search because it is anime-focused and has a PS5 app, but the evidence does not justify calling it a universal winner. Netflix and Hulu are also plausible candidates in markets where both titles are licensed, while the Japan-specific Jujutsu Kaisen listing additionally names Prime Video.
Use this decision order:
- Filter by PS5 access. Confirm that the app is available in your PlayStation Store region. PlayStation’s cited US page confirms Crunchyroll, Netflix and Hulu; it does not settle every other market or every service named by the franchise pages.
- Check both exact titles. Search One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen separately. Never infer the second catalog from the first.
- Check completeness. Compare season and episode selectors, and distinguish a film from a television season.
- Check language options. Verify Japanese audio, subtitles and dubs for the episodes you intend to watch.

Hulu advertises selected Crunchyroll titles on its Crunchyroll Network page and names Jujutsu Kaisen. This supports a limited connection between Hulu and Crunchyroll programming; it does not prove that Hulu carries the complete Jujutsu Kaisen series, every One Piece episode, or the same selection in every country. Treat the word “selected” as a warning to inspect the individual title page and season list.

The new PS5 anime hub: what it does and does not change
Sony Pictures Entertainment announced on October 8, 2026, an anime hub experience for PS5. The announcement describes a dedicated place to discover anime and anime-inspired games and to access the full Crunchyroll app. It does not establish universal rollout, a separate subscription, or a new content entitlement.
In practical terms, the hub may make discovery easier when it is available on your console. You still need to open the relevant service, check your local catalog and meet that service’s plan requirements. The hub should not be treated as evidence that every anime title is included with PlayStation access.
Common mistakes when comparing anime apps
- Assuming a franchise link is an episode guarantee: an official One Piece viewing link names services but does not promise identical catalogs.
- Using Japan’s Jujutsu Kaisen page as a global guide: that page is explicitly Japan-specific.
- Confusing app availability with title availability: installing Netflix, Hulu or another app does not mean a requested show is licensed in your region.
- Counting a film as a season: search results can combine the series and movie under one franchise name.

Install Crunchyroll first if you want the most anime-centered PS5 experience and a clearly documented console setup. Check Netflix and Hulu as well, because official sources name them for One Piece and identify Jujutsu Kaisen in Japan or among selected Hulu Crunchyroll titles. Pluto TV and Funimation are named by the official One Piece site, while Prime Video appears on the Japan-specific Jujutsu Kaisen listing. None of those references proves a complete, worldwide two-show catalog. Search both titles in your own country, inspect seasons, languages and plan access, and subscribe only after those checks match what you want to watch.
