ZingChart review
A web-focused charting library with real-time feeds, dashboards, and framework integrations.

ZingChart is a commercial JavaScript library for developers building interactive charts and dashboards in web applications. It supports more than 50 built-in chart types and modules, JSON-based configuration, animated interactions, and multi-chart dashboards through graphsets. The web-only product fits small, mid-market, and enterprise teams that need embeddable visualizations inside their own applications rather than a separate hosted analytics workspace.
Its strongest capability is the combination of interactive chart controls and live data support. Charts can include zooming, scrolling, panning, shared interactions, tooltips, legends, crosshairs, and drilldowns. Real-time feeds can use HTTP, JavaScript, WebSockets, or AJAX transports, with configurable refresh intervals. Data can come from JSON arrays, local or remote JSON files, HTTP endpoints, JavaScript functions, or WebSockets. JSON configuration and integrations for React, Vue, AngularJS, Svelte, and Web Components make it suited to front-end teams working across several JavaScript environments.
The free branded license includes all chart types, modules, plugins, rendering options, and no render rate limits, but requires a ZingChart watermark. The Website plan covers one website or domain with unlimited developers and watermark-free charts, while Internal is for one internal application or domain and adds internal user authentication. SaaS supports one salable product or application with internal and external authentication. Enterprise expands coverage to unlimited internal applications or domains, and OEM addresses distributed software, on-premise products, and embedded-system use cases. Paid licenses are presented as yearly perpetual licenses rather than per-user subscriptions. Choose ZingChart when embedded, interactive, real-time web charts are the priority; teams seeking a hosted dashboard product should consider a different category of tool.
