ZEEP review
A capable free Android editor for podcasts and voice work, with optional cloud-focused Pro tools.

ZEEP is a mobile multitrack audio editor for Android phones and tablets. It records directly onto a new lane or imports audio, then lets solo creators and small teams arrange movable clips across lanes. Waveform tools handle trimming, cutting, splitting, joining, fades and non-destructive effects. The feature set suits podcast production, voice editing and other projects that need detailed control without leaving an Android device.
The free editor includes its lanes, waveform operations, processing tools and export formats. ZEEP Pro monthly and ZEEP Pro annual add Library folders, Multiple Projects and two-way synchronization with a user’s Microsoft OneDrive folder. Both paid plans list the same additions, so the choice is between monthly and annual billing rather than different feature tiers. Exports cover MP3 at 128, 192 or 320 kbps; M4A/AAC at 128, 192 or 256 kbps; plus WAV and FLAC.
Processing depth is a notable strength for a phone-based editor. On-device AI noise reduction uses DeepFilterNet, while the parametric equalizer provides eight bands and the compressor exposes threshold, ratio, knee, attack and release controls. Speed and pitch shifting offer selectable processing modes, and LUFS loudness matching works with true-peak limiting for delivery-level control. OneDrive integration can support file continuity, but it is tied to Pro and the app remains Android-only. Choose ZEEP for focused podcast or voice work on Android; choose another tool if you need iOS, desktop editing or broader cloud-service coverage.
