YouGile review
A chat-centered board tool with a useful free tier and limited ecosystem breadth.

YouGile is a project management platform for teams that organize work on visual Agile boards. It fits distributed teams that want task discussions to feel like chat, while keeping subtasks, deadlines, reminders, files, timers, and progress tracking attached to each task. Projects can include user permissions, roles, activity timelines, reports, and task transfers between boards. Access spans web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, and self-hosted deployments on Windows or Linux servers.
Its strongest differentiator is the combination of visual board work and conversation inside tasks. Teams can discuss work in a chat-style format, track time with timers and a stopwatch, and apply configurable workflow rules as tasks move through columns. REST API access provides an additional route for connecting internal systems, while Google Calendar, email, and Telegram cover the named external connections. This makes YouGile a focused fit for teams that value communication within the project workspace more than a broad integration marketplace.
The Free plan supports up to 10 users and includes cloud access, full-featured project management, mobile access, user permissions, and an activity timeline. The Cloud plan keeps the first 10 users free with the same core capabilities. Self hosted adds deployment on the company server, unlimited companies, and priority support. That structure gives smaller teams a practical starting point and gives organizations with server requirements a deployment option. Choose YouGile when board-based work, task chat, permissions, and deployment flexibility are priorities. Consider an alternative if your team needs a wider set of named integrations or task views beyond the board-centered workflow.
