Yandex Mail review
A free personal mailbox with 200 GB shared storage and Yandex Disk attachments.

Yandex Mail is a personal email service for sending, organizing, and searching messages, aimed at people who want a free mailbox with cloud-file attachments. It is available on the web, iOS, and Android, and supports IMAP and SMTP for use with compatible email clients. Spam and virus protection, filters, forwarding, and aliases cover everyday inbox management without requiring a paid plan.
Storage and attachment handling are central to its appeal, with an important distinction: the 200 GB mailbox storage is shared with Yandex Disk, while direct attachments can be up to 1 GB. Files added through Yandex Disk can be up to 10 GB. Common documents, images, and archives can be previewed. This arrangement suits people who often send larger files and are comfortable keeping mail and cloud storage in the same ecosystem; those wanting separate storage or a custom domain should look elsewhere.
Mail collection lets users bring messages from external mailboxes into Yandex Mail, while aliases and additional addresses offer options for organizing incoming mail. The service also works through its mobile apps and mobile web interface. A Personal plan is listed alongside the Free plan, and Yandex 360 subscribers receive additional storage, ad-free interfaces, and an exclusive email address. Choose Yandex Mail for a free, feature-rich personal inbox with cloud attachments; consider another service if custom-domain email is essential or you need mailbox storage separate from Yandex Disk.
