Xolotl review
A compliance-oriented scheduling suite with broad practice-management coverage and no native mobile apps.

Xolotl is a veterinary practice management suite built around scheduling and broader clinic operations. Its shared calendar organizes appointments by veterinarian and treatment room, while a practice portal handles client booking and online intake forms linked to client and animal records. The system also covers clinical records, prescriptions, dose checks, inventory, invoicing, hospitalisation, reporting, and field visits. It is aimed at Belgian practices and can suit companion, equine, farm, breeding, and exotic workflows, from solo mobile veterinarians to multi-site clinics.
Pricing is monthly and based on the number of veterinarians, with staff accounts included. Clinic & group costs €39 per user per month and adds multiple sites, a farm and regulatory pack, and API access. Practice costs €59 per user per month, adding staff scheduling, tasks and HR, reports, industry benchmarks, and guided onboarding and migration. Solo costs €79 per user per month and includes all modules, unlimited staff accounts, web and desktop access, and free data migration. Prices exclude VAT. The plan structure puts multi-site and regulatory capabilities in the lowest-priced tier, while Solo emphasizes included modules and staff capacity.
Xolotl fits practices that want scheduling tied directly to records, inventory, invoicing, permissions, and compliance-oriented oversight. Integrations include CODA, Winbooks, Exact, CSV, Peppol, and DICOM, with API access on Clinic & group. Web, Windows, macOS, and Linux access supports mixed desktop environments, and phone-based offline field work is available through an installable browser workflow. Practices requiring native iPhone, iPad, or Android apps should choose an alternative. Xolotl is a stronger match for European clinics prioritizing centralized operational records and auditability than for teams seeking a mobile-first scheduling product.
