WorkAdventure is a browser-based 2D virtual world for remote and hybrid teams, online events, digital classrooms, and recruitment experiences. People move through customizable maps with avatars, start proximity-based text, audio, and video conversations, and use dedicated meeting rooms or presentation zones. It also supports persistent Matrix chat rooms, screen sharing, mobile and desktop PWAs, role-based access management, SSO, APIs, and self-hosted deployment. It suits organizations that want meetings and informal interaction to happen inside a persistent, navigable space rather than only through a list of calls.

The published plans cover a free option, a one-shot event tier, and a monthly remote-office tier. Free costs €0 flat and includes unlimited duration, up to 10 simultaneous users, audio, video, chat, screen sharing, and mobile/desktop PWA access. Event costs €4 per user per day and adds unlimited audio, video, and chat, multiple screen sharing, and recording. Business costs €8 per user per month with monthly billing and adds access management and SSO alongside unlimited audio, video, chat, and multiple screen sharing. This structure fits occasional events and small trials, while recurring offices need the Business plan for its access controls and monthly billing.

WorkAdventure also has a broad ecosystem fit. Listed integrations include Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Workspace, Google Calendar, Outlook, Slack, Trello, Notion, Miro, Google Meet, and Element. Map scripting plus Room, Inbound, Map Storage, and Scripting APIs provide additional ways to shape spaces and workflows, while self-hosting supports organizations that want deployment control. Choose it for open virtual offices, interactive events, or classrooms that benefit from spatial interaction and customizable environments. Choose another meeting product if the priority is a conventional call interface or if the Free plan's 10-user limit is too restrictive.
