Wix Studio is a web creation and management platform for designers, developers, marketers, freelancers, agencies, and enterprises. It combines a responsive visual editor with custom CSS and layout controls, a CMS, reusable templates and design libraries, client collaboration, role-based permissions, AI-assisted workflows, and centralized management for multiple sites. Clients can review work through on-canvas comments or update content through controlled permissions. The platform is available on web, iOS, Android, and through an API, with agency custom branding for client-facing materials.
Its plan structure scales from smaller client projects to enterprise operations. Basic includes 10GB of storage, 1,500 CMS items, three external site collaborators, custom templates, design libraries, and 24/7 Customer Care. Standard raises storage to 50GB, CMS capacity to 4,000 items, and external collaborators to five, while adding payment acceptance. Plus provides 120GB of storage, 20,000 CMS items, 10 external collaborators, and Priority Customer Care. Elite adds unlimited media storage, 10,000,000 CMS items, 100GB of database storage, up to 100 external collaborators, and dedicated data infrastructure. Enterprise adds unlimited site collaborators, custom CMS quotas, multi-site management, centralized billing, single sign-on, and a dedicated account manager.
Wix Studio is suited to agencies that need one workspace for many sites, structured client access, reusable components, and both visual and developer-oriented workflows. Its ecosystem includes Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Instagram, TikTok, Amazon, Bing, Meta, Etsy, Klaviyo, OpenAI, Semrush, and SE Ranking. Custom code, APIs, Velo, and headless development tools extend the platform beyond visual editing, while built-in tools cover ecommerce, bookings, events, CRM, and restaurants. Teams focused only on small, simple sites may not need this breadth; agencies managing varied client requirements are the clearer fit.
