A Windows-focused PDF printer and utility for conversion, OCR, automation, and document control.

Win2PDF is a Windows virtual printer and desktop utility for creating, converting, and managing PDF files from Windows applications. It supports PDF, PDF/A, XPS, TIFF, SVG, image, text, and searchable PDF output, with OCR for creating searchable documents. The product is suited to solo users, small and mid-market teams, enterprises, and developers that need local desktop or self-hosted PDF processing rather than cloud-based document creation. Its Windows focus makes it particularly relevant for workflows built around Windows applications, Windows Server, or automated report servers.
Pricing is structured around one-time licenses. The Free Trial enables most features but adds an extra page to each document. The $35 Win2PDF edition adds PDF, PDF/A, XPS, and SVG creation, batch conversion, merging, password protection, and watermarking. Win2PDF Pro costs $69 and adds PDF export, security, watermarks, and file attachments. Server-focused options are Win2PDF TSE at $500 and Win2PDF Pro TSE at $950, both with Windows Server support and Watch Folder features. Developer and runtime licenses cost $399, $599, and $1,199 for specified application and distribution scenarios.
Win2PDF’s main strength is breadth within Windows document processing. It can merge, append, prepend, split, rotate, reorder, extract, and delete PDF pages, export PDFs to formats including DOCX, RTF, ODT, JPEG, TIFF, and PNG, and run conversion or modification tasks through command-line operations. Custom Windows applications can connect through Win32 and .NET printer APIs. It also integrates with email tools and services including Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo! Mail, and custom SMTP servers. Choose Win2PDF for Windows-centered printing, conversion, automation, and document controls; choose another product if template-led PDF design or cross-platform deployment is the priority.
