Westend61 is a stock photography and video agency for agencies, companies, media organizations, and public authorities. Its library covers lifestyle, business, people, family, technology, health, travel, sustainability, food, and social issues. Customers can license content for websites, social media, advertising, print, magazines, books, television, and other commercial or editorial projects. The service is paid, with no free plan, and operates through one-time image and video licenses rather than monthly subscriptions.

Licensing is the main differentiator. The Social Media Only plan covers social media use at 1400 × 930 px and 72 dpi, while Web Only S adds websites, blogs, newsletters, apps, and mobile publications at the same resolution. Web Only S Video covers digital projects in 720p MP4. Standard M, L, and XL support web and print projects, allow print runs up to 500,000 copies, and increase resolution from 1556 × 1286 px to 5568 × 3712 px at 300 dpi. Standard XL Video supports FHD/4K video. Unlimited XL adds unlimited print runs, corporate and umbrella-brand use, database storage, and commercial products.

Westend61 also supports team accounts, multi-seat licensing, image and credit packs, reverse image search, personal licensing consultation, curated image research, and extended rights clearance. Market Freeze provides exclusive use for selected content. These options suit organizations that need controlled rights, higher-resolution assets, or help sourcing and clearing imagery. Smaller teams with occasional needs may prefer a simpler stock service, particularly when they only need web access or straightforward downloads. Westend61 is a stronger fit for businesses that value curated content, editorial and commercial coverage, and licensing guidance.
