Voxcloud review
A low-cost cloud phone system with useful routing and softphone basics.

Voxcloud is a cloud-hosted business phone system for startups, solo businesses, remote workers, offices and larger organizations. It provides virtual geographic and non-geographic business numbers, extensions, time-of-day routing, ring groups, auto attendant, voicemail-to-email, call recording and call data access. Web, Windows, iOS and Android access supports distributed teams and multiple office locations, while email and phone support are available for customers.
Pricing is structured around extensions and calling needs. The Phone Extension + Call Charges plan costs £5 per extension per month, with free incoming calls and outgoing calls billed at 1p per minute to landlines and 6p per minute to mobiles. The £9 Phone Extension + Premium Features plan adds call recording and other premium features. At £11.99 per extension per month, Phone Extension + Inclusive Call Charges includes unlimited calls to UK landline and mobile numbers, call recording and other premium features. A free plan and a 14-day free trial are also available; free service is limited to inbound 0843/0845 numbers.
The strongest fit is a small team that needs low-cost business numbers, basic call flows and softphones across desktop and mobile. Routing, auto attendant, ring groups and voicemail-to-email cover common inbound-call requirements, and call data can be viewed and downloaded. The trade-off is a narrower ecosystem and feature set: Voxcloud does not include integrations or call transcription, so teams needing connected workflows, deeper analytics or more advanced communications features should consider an alternative. Its paid tiers make the most sense when recording, premium functions or inclusive UK calling justify the higher per-extension cost.
