Volley is an asynchronous messaging application for individuals, coaches, consultants, remote teams, groups, and communities. It supports direct messages and group conversations through video, audio, text, image, screen-recording, file, GIF, and uploaded-video messages. Spaces add channels and threaded conversations, while automatic transcripts, public links, playback-speed controls, downloads, and follow-up markers support conversations that do not happen live. Volley is available on the web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

The published plans show a free Basic Personal Account with unlimited direct messages, a 3-minute video, audio, and screen-recording limit, 30-day message history, and 50 MB file uploads. The Pro Account costs $10 per month and raises recordings to 10 minutes, extends message history to 1 year, and adds interactive transcripts, downloads, and 250 MB uploads. Basic Space supports up to 10 members, 3-minute recordings, 30-day history, channels, and admin moderation. Premium Space costs $25 per month for 10 members or $50 per month for 25 members, with 15-minute recordings, 3-year history, interactive transcripts, scheduled volleys, and custom recording limits. Annual billing offers a 50% discount for Pro and a 20% discount for Premium Space.

Volley’s strongest fit is for teams that want conversation and video messaging in the same group-oriented product. Screen recording can capture an entire screen or a single window, and viewer data includes counts, identities, view times, and reactions. Automatic transcripts and scheduled video, audio, and text volleys add structure to asynchronous updates. The product is less suitable for teams that need integrations with other software or built-in video editing. Choose it when threaded group communication, recording flexibility, and viewer visibility matter more than editing or a broader connected ecosystem.
