Volinga Suite review
A Windows desktop suite for professional Gaussian Splat and 4DGS production.

Volinga Suite is a standalone Windows application for creating, training, optimizing and editing 3D Gaussian Splat assets from photographs, video and existing datasets. It is aimed at mid-market and enterprise teams in media, entertainment and virtual production that need local processing, scene refinement and repeatable desktop workflows. The built-in editor supports Brush, Lasso and Sphere selection, plus moving, duplicating and deleting splats. User-provided and automatic human and sky masks help prepare scenes before export.
The suite is sold in Studio and Enterprise plans, with pricing handled through sales. Published trial terms describe unlimited-duration online trials with watermarks, while paid licensing enables watermark-free commercial use. Production-oriented capabilities include HDR, OpenEXR and ACES color workflows, 4K and 8K processing, and a Job Queue Manager for batch work. Reality Capture, Metashape and COLMAP-aligned imports connect the application to established capture and registration workflows. Offline licensing and local processing options suit organizations that keep assets on desktop systems.
Volinga Suite’s standout focus is the combination of editorial controls and Gaussian Splat processing depth, extending from capture-source training through animated PLY sequence conversion into optimized NVOL 4DGS assets. It also exports NVOL assets for use with Volinga’s Unreal Engine plugin. Teams that need a Windows-based production suite, local operation and 4DGS conversion should shortlist it. Organizations seeking a cross-platform deployment, cloud-first processing or transparent self-serve pricing should consider alternatives, as the product is a closed-source desktop application and commercial licensing goes through sales.

- Where it doesn't
- Windows-only desktop deployment limits platform flexibility
- Studio and Enterprise pricing require a sales conversation
- Online trials carry watermarks; commercial watermark-free use requires a paid license
